I've been so busy today, I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stay up and party with you guys.
Truthfully, every woman I've ever known who had an abortion was deeply affected by it ---- forever.
That's why I'm pro-life.
I think that while we may not be able to stop people from having sex outside of marriage - we need to educate them about birth control - because abortion isn't the answer.
Sure -- tulip's got a boyfriend!
Boyfriend? I don't think so. Tonight I didn't get to leave the office until 8 pm... and then I had more work to finish when I got home that had to be done ASAP (even though it's a Friday). :-(
Eek...that's rough. Hope you at least get to rest up over the weekend!
*sigh*
I kinda have the opposite problem. The job I just started is a temp position, paid hourly. We're deploying new computer systems for a company, and we're quite a bit ahead of schedule on this phase...should be done early next week.
They were ordering new computers for the next phase, but they won't be in for another two weeks. I have no idea what's gonna happen in the interim. I don't want to sit around at work doing nothing, but I don't want to go without a paycheck either!
I don't think I will be able to. I have to go back into the office tomorrow morning, then run errands, clean the apt, do laundry, lesson plans...etc...
Be happy for the quiet time now. I'm sure once the computers come in, you'll be very busy!
I just don't know if they'll keep us around if we aren't working, being as we're temps at this point. I'm assuming so, as we weren't told otherwise, but...
I still haven't eaten dinner yet...
Move where I am. I'll feed you. ;)
OK Freepers, here's my profile:
I am 29 years old, 6', 175 pounds, with dark, wavy hair and brown eyes. I have an MBA from Fordham University and an MA from the University of Chicago. I came out to Seattle to work as a Management Consultant in the aviation industry. Since arriving from New York, I have been living in Belltown and enjoying the city and all it has to offer. In addition to my aforementioned activities, I enjoy cooking for friends, tasting fine wine, traveling the country and the world, and go to the movies frequently.
I've never met your mom, but I think I like her.
*gasp*
You'd better go fix that!
If I wasn't afraid of posting gifs I'm not hosting, I'd post something. ;-) But I had a bad experience with that one time (a realllly bad "don't steal bandwidth" kind of replacement pic), and now I'm skeered...
Miami 2000: I went as John the Baptist, with my head on a silver platter.
BTW: BEING SINGLE IN DYKE TOWN S-CKS!!!
She was both very practical and a hoot! ;-)
I miss her a lot.
For you:
yes-- Sex with a Cowboy
Prior to her trip to Texas, Buffy (a New Yorker) confided to herco-workers she had three goals for her trip to the Lone Star State:
1. She wanted to taste some real Texas Bar-B-Que.
2. She wanted to take in a bona fide rodeo. And..
3. She wanted to have sex with a real cowboy.
Upon her return, the girls were curious as to how she fared.
"Let me tell you, they have a tree down there called a Mesquite andwhen they slow cook that brisket over that Mesquite, it's ooooh so good. The taste is unbelievable!
"And I went to a real rodeo.Talk about athletes...those guys wrestle full grown bulls! They ride horses at a full gallop, then jump off the horses and grab the bull by the horns and throw them to the ground! It is just incredible!"They then asked,
"Well tell us, did you have sex with a real cowboy?"
"Are you kidding? When I saw the outline of the condom they carry in the back pocket of their jeans, I changed my mind!"
LOL! I still have to finish my degree before I can move.
Is anyone else depressed about being single?
