My sources are relaying to me information that may be very good news re: the Plame Case.
Although I cannot substantiate this info 100%, I am receiving this from sources very close to the investigation and grand jury:
1. No indictments for Rove, Libby or any member of the administration.
2. Pobable indictments for Vallerie Plame, Joseph Wilson and one as yet unknown high ranking Congressional Democrat.
3. No wrong doing or misuse of intelligence on the part of the administration.
4. Possible criminal conduct in an attempt to smear the White House on the part of Congressional Democrats, Plame and Wilson.
(Again, take this with a grain of salt but this is what I am hearing from my sources and the D.C. grape vine)

Shouldn't this be under BREAKING RUMORS?
screwed up the price of condos in Solvang so I can't afford one.
I tend to believe this info, To me it's the most logical path that any credible prosecutor would take in this matter. Joe Wilson has lied every time he raised his right hand in this case and why he was chosen to go to Niger and why the DCI was not aware of his trip or what the Counter Proliferation Dept of the CIA (Where Valerie Plame worked)was doing under the radar,
One can dream, one can dream. I sure hope your sources are correct.
Follow the grapevine-wine and pancakes:)
Wilson runs a Consulting Group that caters to Middle Eastern Investors
Don't blame me for Sideways.I am the grapevine mod for the PLAME CASE !!!.Chardonnay anyone.
Joe Isuzu has more credibility than the NYT.
...its alleged attempt to buy uranium in Niger -- was disputed by a CIA-directed mission to the central African nation in early 2002, according to senior administration officials and a former government official. But the CIA did not pass on the detailed results of its investigation to the White House or other government agencies, the officials said.
the former ambassador called the CIA officers who sent him to Niger and was told they were looking into new information about the claim, sources said. The former envoy later called the CIA and State Department after Bush's State of the Union speech and was told "not to worry," according to one U.S. official.
This of course turned out to be Wilson. I want to know why he thought he had the sum total of all information on Niger or Iraq's nuclear designs. And how did this leak out of a closed door Senate Intelligence Committee meeting:
Although Tenet told the panel that some questions had been raised about the evidence, he did not mention that the agency had sent an envoy to Niger and that the former ambassador had concluded that the claims were false.
It does seem a little hard to believe, but I sure hope that it is true.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is what Fitzgerald really does, to tell the truth.
Ahhh, that is really beautiful devolve! Wish the President could see it.
1)What lawyer worth his pay is not going to research and find that revealing her identity is NOT a crime.
2)Once that is discovered he is going to tell his client that the only exposure he could have is perjury so tell the absolute truth to the GJ even if you identified her.
3)Cover-up is always worse than the crime so avoid at all costs.
Assuming they followed all three which they would anyway, where is the indictment on our side?
Pray for W and Our Troops
I imagine it has been noted somewhere

A nice change from zippergate
You're right, it is.
But people have a hard time doing the honorable thing when they would be under political pressure, or when the 5th column press would surely engage in their character assassination.
Great stuff buddy at post #71.
