It's a very sad commentary on how desperately people need God in their lives.
The answers to all questions, pleas and holes in souls (not soles) is at the foot of the Cross, not in a design of a tree trunk.
Very sad.

It's all in the eye of the beholder.
With the power of suggestion.....and if I squint and stare just below the branch I can imagine I see a bearded man with downcast eyes.
Definitely not as dramatic as the colorful figure of Mary that appeared on the windows of the bank building in Clearwater, FL during Christmas week in 1996.
