Woods: "John, I really, really don't think you can drive the island green."
Daly: "Just hand me my driver and take a step back, Tiger."

The problem is, I can't get the site to load. Now, I figured out a way to look at the images and the captions: use the Google Image search on the phrase "Earth from Above", go to the last page, then select the include omitted pictures option. Any numbered images from "home.fujifilm.com" are the images from the Earth from Above site, and you can read "About the Picture" if you want to.
After a bit of searching, I found a directory for this photographer's (Yann-Arthus Bertrand) books, particularly the "Earth from Above -- 365 Days" book. I was looking for a particular image I couldn't identify, but after a bit of work I did. I'll show you that image next week. This one, however, I have not been able to identify. Now, if you go here:
La Terre vue du Ciel (Earth from Above)
and click a country on the left, you can access images organized by country. I found several of my favorites from the directory, but I haven't found the one above yet. If you feel like it, see if you can find it and identify it.
I'll probably be using this site for several weeks, unless there's a big event or a great picture from another site.
(Ask your FRiends to take part in the search!)
To save myself from the french language I will use Google Earth.
It is named "nothing". IOW "NOTHING ATOLL". lol
I was thinking kwaj, but it looks too small.
See my post #5.
I think that the "green" is actually an enclosed lagoon.
No problem. I used your first linky after I couldnt get clear satellite images of the carribean. Its in his 1999 section.
Puntos de Buceo Los Roques. Francisqui
The "green" is light purple in the image on this page. Quick Googling indicated this is a good (not great) dive site.
The images at the website are beautiful. Nice link.
