Really no choice now. I have enjoyed the tub/shower all these years. The tub will be saved I am sure.

Last night, I got thinking about that footage about those bombs going off in Baghdad.

It seems to me that the "journalists" in their hotels have cameras focused 24/7 on the immediate area proximal to their location mounted on tripods or other such apparatus in order to catch any events such as bombs going off.

Now they can report the matter as being about the insurgents going after the "media" which really must make at least a few of the reporters feel so very smug even as they hide behind their shields of the bodies of our US Military and the heroic new Iraqi forces.

Later, I started thinking, hmmm, the insurgents may simply be thinking that if they can't get the reporters to come to out of their hotel suites, then perhaps they simply want to give the "reporters" a good look at their ingeniousness at being able to coordinate their own brave ignorant hero's willingness to kill themselves on international television. Heck, if I were an ignorant member of one of those cults, I'd probably volunteer to be a suicide bomber myself. I mean consider the alternative.

Gosh I'll miss those dead ignorant apostates.

Meanwhile, ABC news tonight reported that the "War On Iraq" is something that we all should hate. As for me I think that we should be fighting a war on poor journalists who simply do not understand the proper use of the English language. The War On Iraq? Hey Seven, where are you when we need good reporting on this stuff?

Hey, sometimes I mess up a little in my prose, and sometimes a bit of that is deliberate, but on the other hand I ain't getting paid for my comments.

I do not mean to be stealing your news reporting thunder there Seven. Carry on.

Today was good, but a bit chilly. I took the kids to the playground for co- op we have today and we were all saying how chilly we were. Son #1 insisted on wearing shorts and he refused to bring a sweatshirt. (I snuck one into the car tho) and he was miserable.. We didn't have any wind. Glad to hear all is well!

It's COLD here! 50 mph wind gusts predicted until 4 a.m. My parents have had snow, and my brother, the geologist, is working in 12" of snow in WV right now. He was supposed to go up there this morning, but they called and said no electricity so not to come. He went late today and hopes to do whatever it is he has to do tomorrow. So, yes, Wilma affected our weather somewhat.

You not on the computer all day? Has the world ended? Did hell freeze over? What happened????

Today is Tuesday, almost as busy as Monday. BUT, the annual payroll assn seminar was today.....so, I went this morning, and had to double time it this afternoon to get to the point where I could print checks.

You did have quite an interesting array of weather. Hope everything is tied down. I hate the wind gusts that go on for hours. Not sure I wouldn't go crazy in a hurricane.

You had a busy day! I suspect most of your days are busy.

Everything that goes anywhere is pretty much in. My trees will shake acorns and limbs down on the roof all night. HA! I went through Hurricane Hugo and it was horrible. I think it was last year or the year before that Isabel put a tree down on my house. Other than that, we don't get many hurricanes. But even then, I think we probably had a small tornado that was spawned by the hurricane and that's what got my tree. It was really twisted. We never get the weather that the coasts get, though. All in all, it's pretty mild here. Temps aren't usually extremely anything.

I'm heading to bed. G'night!
