I say go back and ask her, if you find that she is still wearing the ring. The only problem is, what if she WASN'T sending me signals and gets offended that I thought she was? Again, I don't think it's possible that she wasn't, but still...

Correct me if I'm wrong, Scott...but I think what he means is that he doesn't often date because he wouldn't date anyone he wouldn't potentially marry. Not the same thing as saying you wouldn't eventually marry someone you date. If that makes sense?
Past my bedtime - I'm not coherant.

I couldn't let Moosie see that picture. There is no telling what he would do!!! (Moosie is the big stuffed Moose that I sleep with every night. He even travels with me. You should see the expressions on the security guys' faces when they pull him out of my carry on! ROFLOL!)

What I meant is that if it's obvious a particular girl and I won't get married (it would never work out), I won't date that said girl. It makes no sense.
Yes, I want to be married very much. I've been ready since I was 18.

Well, I guess you are right. No, I don't think you ever get over it, the pain just eases over time so that it is bearable.

To: scott7278
Scott, dear. You can do this in a very sincere, but non-personal way! You can say, "Hey, what a beautiful ring." That would be her cue to tell you what it is, an engagement ring or something that she got from a relative or bought for herself.
