the proper FR response would be, "Are you logged in?" but I have noticed certain, not all, threads are running a bit slow...

Check your Registry for \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Performance\ScrewWithRedBadgerFRPerformanceSpeed = True
:)

As it took 1 minute to pull up your thread, and then another minute to pull up the "Your Reply" box, I'd say that it is definitely running slow.

At work. Seriously fast machine on a seriously fast network.
Yeah... FR is the only website I'm hitting right now that is lagging this bad.

Either a server problem, or some kind of DOS or dns poisoning attack

Moving like a 14.4K dial-up... I checked my DSL connection (4204 / 497) and it's normal... must be a bottleneck at the ISP?

It's been running slower and slower for the past few days. I know some freepers have been running all kinds of tests to see if their computers are at fault. I know I did.
It would be a big help if some word would be posted by management to set some minds at rest. Thanks.

I clicked on reply and it took 8 seconds for the reply screen to come up. Very S...L...O...W
It also took another 8 seconds for the first preview screen, and 20 seconds to preview again.
