Sorry if this is anywhere else--search is my friend but I could turn up nothing. Chicago and LA/Anaheim are tied 3-3 with 2 out in the 7th as I type this. Go-ahead run at 2nd. Can Chicago win their first pennant since 1959?
Last year the Red Sox. This year the White Sox. Next year
the Cubs? Mighty cold down in Hell these days!
Certainly not.
The aftermath convinced me to NOT root for the downtrodden Cubbies and their sorry fans (if no team I care about is contending). Darn near every diehard Cub fan blamed that guy for the collapse. How sad. Such losers.
Don't believe the media. I live in Chicago and listen to Local Sports Talk Radio. The great majority of Cubs fans were not blaming that guy. Just the usual gang of drunken idiots that every stadium has.
They hold a special place in my heart too; despite the machinations of Duh Commish, I'll always hate the Pale Hose.
Long live the Brew Crew :-)
Congrats to the Sox and all their Chi-town fans where ever they are!
Baeball season is over.
Baseball season is over.
Congrats to the White Sox. Great starting pitching gets the job done. And not too shabby with the bats as well. Good luck in the Series--I hope the Astros can earn the right to be the reps for the NL.
Their offense was offensive.
LOL... Congratulations to the White Sox! They are truly an awesome team. Geesh, four consecutive complete games (Buehrle, Garcia, Garland, Contreras) in the ALCS... wow.
Bwahahahahahha......
Winners Take responsibility...
Losers make excuses....
Go - Go - White Sox....
They spanked the Angels, their pitching was great, hitting fantastic, outplayed the whole Angels team, and simply embarrassed the Angels & RedSox...
Baseball season still going on with a Game Tomorrow, and the world Series starts next Saturday in Chicago.
Face it...

Crib? The Los Angeles Angels play in a baseball stadium.
One thing for sure is, winners do not go "bwa hahahah"
The clear majority were, according to my own informal water-cooler polling at the time.
Just the usual gang of drunken idiots that every stadium has.
If these people were drunk, it was on some very rare, we-may-never-get-this-chance-again Cubbies hysteria.
I'm sure a lot of them have sobered up in the meantime and no longer lay the majority of the blame on poor Steve Bartman. But, they did back then, and it's something I'll never forget.
Chicago played a good series, but there's no way that the White Sox can beat the Astros. :-D
For some reason, the slippery pitcher's mound was the undoing of the Angels, while barely phasing the White Sox.
Actually we do... Bwahahahaahha..... lol
Go White Sox...
