Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Fare you well! Fare you well!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Is Ghost Whisperer a show on TV? We usually watch re-runs of CSI on Spike TV. We just love that show. Tonight we saw an old re-run of Monk that we'd never seen. It was from the very first season.

Yeah...it's about a woman who can talk to dead people, help them resolve issues that are bugging them and thus allowing them to "pass over" in peace.
It's full of "scary moments" that become not so scary pretty quick. Of course, all the scary moments are what they play up in the previews...but it's really not too bad and Joshua loves it!

Mornin'.
I had nightmares for most of the night. Weird.
I'm gonna blame it on Tropical Storm Gamma, even though the dreams had nothing to do with storms. :-D

Must put glasses on. For a moment there I thought it was Tropical Storm Gramma.

I slept pretty good, considering I'm here by myself.
I just checked my bank account. Happiness is having all your bills clear when the date is still in the teens! I signed up for mycheckfree.com and so now all my bills are either auto debited or paid for online except for a few, like the trash guys and the jedis classes...local stuff, you know.

hehehehe...
I'm so glad the forecast keeps pushing it further south.
Chances are that we'll get nothing more than a bit of rain. *crosses fingers*

It's great to pay online. I'm just like you that I pay just about everything online - except for the homeowners' association, mortgage and my mom's car insurance.
It's faster, easier and no hassles with the USPS. :-D

Just spent 1k words on the badger demon invasion of the land of the llamas.
Now for the heroic struggle of the llamas and the crucial role of ninja llamas in particular.
Maybe I should just be writing about Llama Land instead.

I'm about to run out of plot at 48K.
Think I'm going to have to go fluff the millieu.

Before:

During: Primer. The two sliding doors have been removed and primed, and all of the headboard except where the doors are has been primed.

I plan to add a coat of primer and then go with the color coats.

Heh. I'm closing in on half-way. Just can't get much writing done during the week.
I'm doing ninja llama backstory until I can decide what happens next.

Just talk about how in the aftermath, the llamas became the dominant life form on the planet...
