Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Fare you well! Fare you well!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Having done the abandon-in-place thing with my Underground tank... I really recommend the above-ground approach. Cheaper and good for peace of mind.

Evening!
Well...just finished updating my resume on CareerBuilder and Monster. Now I just hope for the best.
I'm curious whether I'll get better results this time around, being as I have some local references. I can only hope.

Evening Corin, Ramius.
While you have a UST, now it's LUST; some areas refer to the records as LUST LIST, try getting that through the IT's firewall. First time I got the list for a project area emailed to me, it set off the Employee Policy Manual page and noted log time etc. I went to IT and asked them to open it, they did, and had quite a laff about it. "Just a table with locations and descriptions of, yup, just ust's that were reported leaking and remedial action status."
Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play.

FWIW, employers may be waiting for the new year to hire. Things may pick up in January. Your mileage may vary.

heh... Roger that. The environmental group of my firm has a number of projects with LUST in the project title.
Back when I first started I was too embarrassed to ask what they were about... :-)

I'm throwing in the towel. My worst writing night ever. Decided to watch Rome and Office Space instead. *sigh*

took the buck on a dead run at 75 yds (spooked by a trespasser on his way out)... the doe was quatering away at 100... both were dead before they knew it...

Question....
Do you have the remote for the DVD player you gave us? We don't have it here, and aren't sure if it did come down here with the player way back when when you gave it to us, or if we never had it.
