Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Fare you well! Fare you well!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Heh... I am having less trouble with my characters in the last few days. They're starting to behave. And *do* something.

Oh, I feel for you, hon. Our downstairs furnace went out in January a couple of years ago, and it took almost a week to get it fixed! Needless to say, we did a LOT of baking during those few days, and left lights on as much as possible;left the Christmas lights up until February! It was very cheerful that winter.
Thankfully, we have two furnaces, one in the basement for the main floor and basement, and one in the attic for the second floor and attic office. At least it was warm when we went upstairs.

That's what happened. Rumor has it that ***** used to be a political guru, but gave it all up after his side won. ***** sold everything, took himself and his mother-in-law and his wife and his two sons, and the dog, and moved to Apache Springs two years ago. Now Thunder Hill Fitness is expanding business hours, and probably going to set up a second branch out near the Spaceport.
And ***** has time to garden to his heart's content.

Heh...that one was so bad, I rather enjoyed it. We had no expectation that it would be anything higher than sub-mediocre, and as such, it was kind of a fun movie.

Okay, now the toaster has spewed forth ninja llamas from beyond.
Now what do I do with them?

They could battle the toaster to the death, in order to keep it from sending them BACK beyond.

Well, the toaster was having a bit of technical difficulties and the llamas escaped. Now they're out of toaster range and on the loose.
