Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Fare you well! Fare you well!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Hate when that happens. especially if they have to order a part for it, assuming it's worth fixing.

It's my lack of descriptive skills that keeps making more people show up. Sad news is, I'm almost halfway to the goal and my title character hasn't shown up yet...

Wife and I took turns taking Jr's Tamagotchi to work. Won't do that again.

What skeers me is that they were out here a couple of weeks ago to service the unit and fill the oil tank. This is the original furnace with the house. It's the only major thing we haven't replaced...sigh...

I noticed the threads moving slowly. I'm not sure how to take that...

I pretty much hate my Nano characters. None of them are behaving as they were supposed to. I don't hate mine ... quite the opposite. They're being durn distracting! My minor characters are more interesting, at the moment, than my main characters! I hate it when that happens!
Hey, Corin! You're now an offical native of Apache Springs ... you're a personal trainer, and you own the local gym, Thunder Hill Fitness.

Good evening Corin :~D
I pretty much hate my Nano characters.
You should have given me a a bigger part :~D

It means you're an "instigator", a.k.a. someone who prompts others to post. And that's a good thing! ;)

Well, was it good food, anyway? ;)
Rose and I are watching "Category 7", possibly the stupidest movie ever made.

That's good. I need a new job.
To: HairOfTheDog
Well, you did what you needed to, but you've flown home now. You'll be back later.
To: HairOfTheDog
Very good! We just finished eating a Papa John's "Perfect Pan" pizza... with sausage, ham, beef, bacon, and extra cheese on top.

You can't get rid of me that easily.
Although one of my main characters, and or his mother-in-law, just got rid of a little "problem" down in New Orleans...
It ~seemed~ like an accident.
