Don't worry, 2J. There will be more catastrophes for which they will need help. You have plenty of time. Your boys need you more right now, and the more extended trips can wait for a few years.
I have WAY more respect for Rosa Parks than for all of the so called "black leaders" combined. She didn't stand up and yell and scream for equality, she was just a tired woman who wanted to sit down, and in doing so, pointed up the stupidity of segregation and Jim Crow laws.
They just make me giggle... a lot.

Rutheee update: All is well and she's in good spirits, all things considered. Still no power, phone... and there's some question about the water, so she's shuttling back and forth over to grandmas house. The girls are being good.
Power is expected to be out until maybe the weekend. Don't know about phone. Charging the cell phone in the car.

Pretty good day at work, and now I'm making a green chili sorta dinner thing. My supervisor brought in a bunch of various peppers, and I'm simmering the ones I took with pork and onions and chicken broth and spices.

We bit the bullet and installed DSL yesterday!! Haven't gotten around to setting up sub-accounts yet, and the program has combined our settings, OB can get into all his forums, i.e, Tradgang, but FR is on my account. Guess we'll figure that in the next day or two....
