Welcome!!!

"We're so glad to see so many of you lovely people here tonight...

...We would especially like to welcome all the representatives of Illinois' law enforcement community who have chosen to join us here at the Place Hotel Ballroom at this time. We certainly hope you all enjoy the show and remember people that no matter who you are and what you do to live, thrive and survive, there's still some things that make us all the same...

...You, me, them, everybody..."

"…You know people, when you do find that special somebody, you gotta hold that man, hold that woman, love him, please him, squeeze her, please her, signify your feelings with every gentle caress…because it’s so important to have that special somebody to hold, to kiss, to miss, to squeeze, and please…"

Baseball watching participants could discuss how the Angels cannot buy a break in this series so far. More bad umpiring though they are not hitting very well.

It is IMPERATIVE that, here in Ohio, Issues 2-5 go DOWN in FLAMES!!!!!!!!! Otherwise, the DUmmies and their Union and NEA thugs and Soros, will be able to "fix", the election results, if they do not like them.

And this is NEXT MONTH, not next year!!!

That's true. Oak is good. Here's a little poem:

The Oak Tree

Author Unknown

A mighty wind
Blew night and day
It stole the oak tree's leaves away

Then snapped its boughs
And pulled its bark
Until the oak was tired and stark

But still the oak tree held its ground
While other trees fell all around
The weary wind gave up and spoke.
How can you still be standing Oak?

The oak tree said, I know that you
Can break each branch of mine in two
Carry every leaf away
Shake my limbs, and make me sway

But I have roots stretched in the earth
Growing stronger since my birth
You'll never touch them, for you see
They are the deepest part of me

Until today, I wasn't sure
Of just how much I could endure
But now I've found, with thanks to you
I'm stronger than I ever knew

As a Spartan alumnus, my three favorite college teams are in order:
1. Michigan State
2. Whatever team that helps MSU in the standings
3. Whoever is playing against that other school in Ann Arbor.

It looks like the Red Wings are going to be really tough this year. Unlike my St. Louis Blues :(

A missed catcher interference call that led to a DP and a badly missed pick off at first base.

I think these guys are jinxed.
