The ***OFFICIAL*** Friday/Saturday Night Singles' Thread (Oct. 14th & 15th)

Welcome!!!

"We're so glad to see so many of you lovely people here tonight...

...We would especially like to welcome all the representatives of Illinois' law enforcement community who have chosen to join us here at the Place Hotel Ballroom at this time. We certainly hope you all enjoy the show and remember people that no matter who you are and what you do to live, thrive and survive, there's still some things that make us all the same...

...You, me, them, everybody..."

"…You know people, when you do find that special somebody, you gotta hold that man, hold that woman, love him, please him, squeeze her, please her, signify your feelings with every gentle caress…because it’s so important to have that special somebody to hold, to kiss, to miss, to squeeze, and please…"

I wish I had a glass of wine. Though I just went to the ER yesterday for an adverse reaction to a new medication. I still have an itchy rash, so I don't think the wine would help.

I am sorry to hear that. Everything okay?

Actually, I think I'm one of the youngest on the threads. There are a lot of older divorced/widowed singles here. Some with Grandkids. I guess all the young'ns are out a'partyin' on a Friday Night.

I am only 24 here. I did not go partying though. I simply missed the ping for this thread.

Actually, I admire people who don't care a whole lot about neo-pop culture.

I am a sci-fi geek but that is about it for me. Currently writng my own sci-fi.

Confession; I'm a movie fanatic. Actually, I don't go to the theater as often as a lot of people, but I've started going lately more than ever. I love seeing a movie in the cinema. DVD's are good, too, though.

Did you see Serenity? I am going to see that for the third time. It is that good.

I get more caught up in reading, but I love happy movies and action movies. How's that for a confusing, contradictory thing to say?

Me too lol. I like sci-fi and action here. Of course two peas in a pod.

I love Star Wars and my 8 year old grandson does, too. Actually, I had never seen all six until he had to have them. The newest one was awesome. It is better to see that one in the theater.

Episode 3 matches up there with Empire Strikes Back.

LOL I have two cats. A kitten and a big one. One is hyper (the kitten) and one prefers to lay around (big one).

I hate to be so judgemental. I'll admit, once my Mom made me watch the enormously long "Pride and Prejudice", but I actually kind of liked it.

A guilty pleasure of mine is Dangerous Beauty (thanks to FReeper Mara Jade for suggesting it).

I apologize; it happened to someone else, also. :( The only thing I can say is that I somehow closed OE without saving it.

I think I know what happened; I've got my computer set to automatic updates, and it automatically restarted. But, I would think that it would save anything open.

It could have been my error, too. But it wasn't intentional.
