For someone who's not running for the White House, Hillary Clinton will certainly look like a presidential contender Thursday as she embarks on a swing through Hollywood.
While Clinton continues to deny her presidential aspirations and Hollywood Democrats started the year fatigued and frustrated following their unsuccessful effort to elect John Kerry, recent political setbacks for President George W. Bush and Republicans have emboldened Democrats in the entertainment industry.
No fewer than three separate fundraisers drawing on Hollywood coincoin are set for the New York senator's West Coast trip, including a $500-per-person reception at the home of Rob ReinerRob Reiner and a $1,000-brunchhosted by film producers Bruce Cohen and Dan JinksDan Jinks. Television producer Marta Kauffman will also welcome Clinton to her home for a fundraiser.

Tuesday, two books were published prophesizing about a Clinton victory in 2008: Dick Morris' "Condi vs. Hillary" takes the con position on the former First Lady, while arguing the pro is Susan Estrich's "The Case for Hillary Clinton."
And with the ratings success of ABC's frosh skeinskein "Commander in Chief," which stars Geena Davis as the first female President, pundits see the portrayal as warming the country up to the idea of a woman leading the White House.

Clinton also will be making public appearances in L.A. on Thursday and Friday, including delivering a keynote address on women's health for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Women's Guild.
Conservative columnist Robert Novak made waves this summer when he reported in his Chicago Sun-Times column that Clinton was losing support in Hollywood to fresher faces with presidential aspirations, like Vigrinia Gov. Mark Warner or Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh. But supporters like Cohen don't think Clinton's support ever really waned among the entertainment industry.

Meanwhile GWB just got done telling some of our assembled troops down in LA, how truly proud he was of all the efforts they have made to help in the gulf disaster relief. While he humble publically announces how truly great our military folks are, in their committment and sacrifice and service this bitch meets with some of the lowest misfits our society can produce.
Go figure.
Rob Reiner wants the democratic nomination for CA governor -- the one Warren Beatty is gearing up for.
Meathead vs. Bulworth.
Doesn't need a pancake upon her head, she has plenty on her face.
More like if she gets a bucket of water
thrown on her...will she melt?
"If she clicks her heels together three times and says, 'There's no place like home.' Does it work? "
You are confusing her with another character in that story. She's the one that says "I'm melting. I'm melting."
And with the ratings success of ABC's frosh skeinskein "Commander in Chief," which stars Geena Davis as the first female President

I thought this was a ratings disaster...would they be lying?
you mean you didn't touch that up yourself? Ack!
she looks like a dead person in the casket that you look at only sideways because the makeup is so bizarre....
Will they let me get close?
The only thing I did to that image was to put the images of the President's Seal in her eyes! The rest of that face is as natural as her husband's irresistible instinct to molest woman!
It's rather well documented that at one point when Hillary was on an extended leave from the WH BABS was in residence at the lincoln bedroom. Upon Hillary's return BABS was out of town in well under 24 hours. You think that would make you sick I tawt i dust saw a picture of Mr. Janet reno's nekkid backside. oooooooooooooow!
gaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.............
Wonder if she'll be buying a new ol'crusty for the ocassions (and maybe a new pink and blue blouses to go with.
They even found a part for her to play.
No Way! My wife says it's "just a show" and gets mad at me when I say it's subtle propaganda.
So now when she asks why I don't watch the show I tell her it's opposite "The Amazing Race" (Go Gaghans!)
Lots of people said the same thing about her Senate race.
Do not underestimate Hillary and the DNC. They've had 2 elections to practice getting away with vote fraud. They might get it right in 2008.
On and on and on.
You assume that the average American voter has a memory like a FReeper.
She'll win if we can't put up somebody better than McCain in '08.
I'm a broken glass Republican but if it's Hillary vs McCain, I may stay home.
