Please pray for Pakistan, India, Afganistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia that thousands upon thousands died, injured, lost shelters and everything due to the severe earthquake. Expecting earthquakes again in these areas. The volunteers of the Baseelia Foundation involving with the relief services. We urgently need your prayers.
If God willing, I will be going to Kashmir, probably tomorrow to visit the earthquake affected areas and encouraging our volunteers of the relief works

I wish no major disaster on any part of the world and wish the people of the area the best.
But notice the difference in news coverage? For the amount of devastation very little is coming out in the international news. While the BBC rolled with glee about how long it took to get food and water passed out in NOLA nary a word is said about how well government relief efforts are working in the remote areas.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that Your love and compassion shine brightly in the midst of calamity. As the God of All Comfort, we pray that You will surround all those who have survived this disaster, that they would not be without hope. As the Great Physician, may Your healing hand rest mightily upon the injured and suffering ... bring to them physical relief, O God, through the many hands that serve them. As Sovereign God, we trust You in the midst of this turmoil, and as Redeemer God, may the Redemption of Jesus Christ find receptive hearts throughout the nations and with the people. May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of Jesus, Amen ...

I agree it is sad that when it comes to disasters here... the sharks have a field day with deriding how we handle things..and reflect the actions in a negative light, but when it is anywhere else the crocodile tears come out in buckets.

I have a soft spot for a small town called Kalam (sp?) way up in N/E PK. Spent a cold month there one winter. If you here anything could you pass it on?
The kids were cute as all get out and loved to follow us around.
