Ah, but were there really too many nurses? They used to pull my nurses because of a stupid method that they used to calculate the number of nurses needed for however ill the patients were! Then we would get tons of admissions and all heck would break loose!

Well, get over it! I grew up, too, because I got married at 18, became a mother at 19, 22, and one month before my 25th birthday. Now I am a widow and I am going through my second adolescence since I barely got through the first before I had such heavy responsibilities. My grandchildren, except the oldest who is almost 15, think I am pretty cool!

No, there werent too many nurses.. considering the level of care that many of my patients need. But the census of the floor determines it all!!!
We had 6 open beds when I left... Im pretty sure theyll be getting admissions.
I LOVE my career, I really do, but sometimes the red tape FLOORS me!

Actually, me too. I usually go to bed late at night, sleep all morning, getting about 8 hrs per night, along with my 6 glasses of water each day.
