Ah, but were there really too many nurses? They used to pull my nurses because of a stupid method that they used to calculate the number of nurses needed for however ill the patients were! Then we would get tons of admissions and all heck would break loose!
No, there werent too many nurses.. considering the level of care that many of my patients need. But the census of the floor determines it all!!!
We had 6 open beds when I left... Im pretty sure theyll be getting admissions.
