Where's your cartoon thread that had Hillary Clinton as the Emperor? I especially liked that one!

Lucky you. I wish we would get snow. We don't usually get any until January. I live in Virginia.

Since I have to be at the library (Yes, the library!) early in the morning, I can't stay up until 3 am tonight. So I better get going. Good night, everyone!

Well, I travel all the time. I just got back from Birmingham, Alabama. My Highlander got excellent mileage. I am leaving for Ohio in November. I think I only filled up twice on the way from here in Virginia to Birmingham. I had a little unexpected detour on the way home, if you know what I mean. I saw all of these KY license plates and knew something was up. I missed an exit in Knoxville and was 58 miles toward Lexington, KY. Who knew? I had to back track back to Knoxville and catch 40 E.

My late husband and I went out to Wyoming and all out west before he died. I wanted to see a moose so bad!! I saw an Elk and got out of the car to take his picture. Then I saw a Bison and got out to take his picture. No moose. When we got to Jackson, I asked this grumpy lady about the moose and she said just look around, that they sleep in the yards all the time. I did not see any! She also tore into me about taking the Bison's picture. She said tourists (like we were some unwanted aliens) were always getting gored because they are stupid enough to get near a Bison. :(

LOL, something similar happened to me once.
It was a 2 1/2 hour drive from college to home in GA. One night, I was coming home to spend the weekend, but when I reached Monticello, GA, I took a wrong turn and actually got back on the same road, driving back TOWARDS the college. Thing is, I didn't realize it until I was back in one of the towns I had to pass through, 25 miles away.
I got home very late that night.
