Nah I think they would have locked him up by now.
I think he does have eyes for the Tampa job since the new ownership group there wants to spend some cash.
you guys could get John Hart. that wouldn't be bad.

"The Boston Red Sox -- A fluke, a freak accident in 2004."
Here's an interesting poll for New Englanders:
Given the candidates for winning in 2004, who would you rather see win: the Red Sox or John Kerry?
Perhaps it was Divine intervention that kept liberal New Englanders from being completely crestfallen in 2004. The big win for the Red Sox helps them forget that election thingy with that guy from whatever the heck it was. Boston's winning the series gave them a source of happiness that many had waited a lifetime to enjoy.

"Freak accident? This team led the majors 3 years in a row in runs scored. Last year they had 2 legitimate #1 starters.'Yeah, "freak accident" as in EVERYTHING POSSIBLE going their way to beat the Yankees 2004.
Btw, imo the Bosox have had a "better" team over the years many times -- only to come up short."Chicago has the best relief corps in the game. How about giving them some credit?"
For holding down a bases loaded, no outs situation??
El Duque's 50 yo with an ERA over 5.00. Boston choked.

Congrats to the White Sox. I hope they win it all. We didn't deserve it.
And now we turn our attention to our other defending champs. Hello Atlanta. We lost last week. Lucky you.

Both our teams have the exact same weakness.
Pitching.
Almost impossible to win the WS without it.

Wait a second. We worked real hard for President Bush here in NH and we made scary Kerry spend a lot of Union dues money here.

To every team, there is a season--and theirs was last year. The injustice of fate was nullified by their good fortune in sweeping St. Louis last year. Time for someone else to shine.
