Berlin (dpa) - Actors Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas at the presentation of their latest film on Sunday in Berlin expressed their concerns about the government of U.S. President George W. Bush.
Banderas openly criticized the U.S. government, saying it had done its job very poorly. The price for Bush's policies would be enormous not only for the U.S., he said, but for the rest of the world.
Zeta-Jones also stated her dissatisfaction with the current U.S. administration.

I saw that quote in your post and thought it was a joke. Then I saw it in the article. Catherine is hot looking, but boy is she stupid.
Dang scriptwriters....these loons can barely put together a meaningful sentence or thought without them.
What I don't understand is why they're even asked.
I guess you can't get work in Hollywood if you do not bash the President and the U.S. in general.
I wish these idiot actors would just shut up. They are so insulated from the real world, their opinions are nothing but jokes.
We all need to remember that this country affords everyone the right to voice their opinion, no matter how idiotic, self-righteous, and uninformed that opinion is.
We all have our own threshold on this stuff. People get to vote how they want. These particular people are paid by me.
If they announce who they support because a question is asked of them, I shrug. If the announce their support, announce they donate lots of money to the opposition and lead fundraisers to embarrass the President, that that steps over the line and I boycott them.
Now, I don't boycott them when it's convenient. I don't boycott them until they are in some film I have decided to see. I boycott them forever, totally, no exceptions.
They are entitled to their opinion and because of their position their opinion might get propagated widely. If that happens because they were asked, fine. If they become activists, then they are doing so with my money and I shut off the spigot.
BTW, if you use T-MOBILE, Cat Zeta-Jones is their spokesperson....feel free to send a message by dumping them.

They keep shooting their mouths off, and I keep crossing them off my list. Banderas is a has-been. Zeta-Jones...I can't remember the last thing that she did.
Because we, the sheeple, are supposed to breathlessly await the wisdom of their words. (or somebody seems to think so at least)
Cath Zeta Jones is built, she is all woman. I like how she and Michael Douglas got down to business immediately and turned out two babies.
2 more freakin immigrant entertainers getting rich off our country, and then bad mouthing our leaders. What a slap in the face. It seems that with the counrty divided at election time at basically 50/50, then we could be effective enough for them to see a 50% loss of revenue.
