I was under the impression that this is a site for meaningful DISCUSSION. However, after two dissenting posts - neither of which violated the terms of use - I found myself banned.

Don't know about the rest of you but I would be curious to know what "fresh ideas" this clown is talking about.
Does anyone remember what his two "dissenting" posts were that got him banned? I have a strong feeling that his ideas were not "fresh", "informed", but rehashed communist/socialist crap or sandmaggot propaganda.

Right.  A lot of us shared traits and beliefs with the left, to some degree.  After 9-11, I realized I needed to make a clearcut choice and decided my beliefs ran to the right.  The election of 2004 solidified to me that I made the right choice ... the traitorous actions, whining, blaming, pacifism and screaming from the left sickened me.  I am so glad I chose the right way of life to align myself with.
