Early in my career, I worked for a concrete company. We built high rises on Carolina Beach, and a nuclear power plant, at Southport. I can't understand why all of the bridges in LA can't make it through those storms, if they were properly built...

I once had to replace the windsheild on my car because I was in a sand storm out in the desert. Fortunatly I had insurance to help me replace it. I don't ever recall thinking that the government should replace it.

I know what you mean and agree. In Huntsville (Alabama) this week a guy was arrested for "impersonating" an LA evacuee. He was trying to obtain an Alabama drivers license for himself with someone else's LA drivers license.

I've gotten so mad recently at the MSM (Fox included) talking about the government paying to rebuild NO and now Galveston, Houston, Port Arthur, etc.. It's NOT the government that will be paying - IT'S THE TAXPAYERS !!!
