I hope IG doesn't see this, but my worst surgical procedure experience was having a biopsy - this was about 1999 - and it was scheduled for mid a.m..

Only the surgeon had an emergency...he didn't get to me til 3 p.m.

By then I was starving, freezing, and my head about bursting from anxiety.

More sinister than that. It's due to all those Texas BBQs...the consumption of meat, the smirk while enjoying the BBQ...which releases CO2 and the swagger that might churn the CO2 into the atmosphere. We are doomed... LOL

I am saying prayers for my family and friends in Houston. Some are riding it out, some have gone north. My niece and her husband are staying (they live in Katy). This one is going to be terrible!

I continue to be LIVID about the gas gouging going on and pray that some one in government grows a back bone and puts a halt to it! It costs the Saudi's $4.00 from ground to barrel. They are charging us $58.00 a barrel! What is wrong with this picture?

Prayers, of course, for your surgery. The last surgery I had was for my back in '97. The back had been causing me so much pain that I was very eager to have the work done. They put me into a wonderful sleep, I felt so good. I did not want them to wake me up when they did. Whatever it was they gave me; I could get addicted.

Good luck today. I'm sure everything will be fine.
