Well, what does that say about his team if they were beat by a bunch of "little old ladies".

It may very well be true.
On the other hand . . . who cares?
Its just soccer.

I believe it was the last game the US played in Mexico where it turned really ugly. The crowd started chanting love for OBL and calling US players terrorists. Anyone else remember the details?

I've never cared for the public trashing of the opposing team, win or lose. People who make comments like this have lost a lot more than a game.

No, the Mexicans suck! They consider themselves the King of CONCACAF when in reality the Americans are now the powerhouse in this region. We expect the USA to como close to or to win the World Cup in soccer and the mexico team to go home again wioth their tails between their legs. Believe me, USA, Honduras and Canada are better than those over-rated Mexicans.

"So it's easy for them, because they aren't playing under any pressure. My mother, my grandmother or my great grandmother could play in a team like that."Perhaps they would have done better had they been playing on YOUR team, loser!

Its just soccer. LOL. Football season, the real stuff, not the fairy run back and forth for no reason whatsoever, has begun. Time to get the beer, pretzels, chips and dip and enjoy myself.

Apparently, he missed the second goal. That's okay. So did his goalie.

"The real stuff"? I agree with you for now and in the past that NFL was the king of the hill. However, the future is much different. Soccer will within a short few years be the dominate sport here in the US. You will see exactly how much our open border policy has affected our traditions.

So his grandmother is filling yet another job Americans don't want to do?

My grandmother can whip your grandmother!
> trash talk in soccer? Who knew?
The coach said, "Here, everyone's interested in baseball and American football and many people didn't even know that a soccer match was being played today." He's only half right. No one knew.
