Oh, my. We have to talk about this. Some meteorolgist is claiming that Katrina was created and driven. He says that the Russians have claimed that they can do this. They also created Ivan. This storm was designed to stike our oil and natural gas facilities.

If someone really wanted to smash the United States they would use a nuclear excavator on the west coast of La Palma, creating a soliton wave that would wipe out the entire east coast for 30 miles inland. I think the CIA have the critical area staked out though.

Look, Siobhan, the point is this: when you see an insect and want to kill it, you don't exercise
subtlety. You don't crack open your copy of Sun Tzu for a few hours refresher, then carefully devise a plan of attack that involves lulling the enemy with strategically-placed bait and hitting his flanks. No, you walk up to it and step on it. Your power is so immensely greater than the insect's that subtlety would be utterly wasted, and would serve only to delay your goal. Even assuming that a nation could develop technology several decades or more ahead of ours without us
noticing, without
any of the thousands of people who'd have to be involved letting the fact slip to any of our spies, the possessor of such technology would have no need to be subtle.
Still waiting to hear even a few of the "variety of possibilities" you claim exist with current technology to induce and control hurricanes.

I was told that the Chi-coms are the ones that want our
oil not the Rusians .
The story of a Russian superstorm weapon is a variation of the old doomday bomb story, the future and has been plot of another Hollywood "c" movie bomb like Frankenfish !

Gee maybe the DUmmies are right! For the DUMmies to be right, it would have been George Bush who created Katrina to distract us from Iraq.

Wow!! Who would have thought it? The Russians can manipulate the world climate but cannot rescue one of their own subs. Amazing.

As I wrote before I expected you to savage my post. I see you have enjoyed yourself like a teen-age boy with a girlie magazine. You have far surpassed my expectations for displaying your special gifts in this regard.

Do you have any idea how much energy would be required to influence large-scale weather phenomena? No problem. I recall that a Coast guest after the last Northeast blackout said that it was caused by too much energy drawn from the atmosphere by a giant Tesla Coil at
a secret US-UK research base in Canada.
They just have to fire that thing up again, with some extra insulators...

You are talking about far-fangled ideas, and eccentric orbital stations, when the very applicative viability of such is simply not presently possible. Savage your post? What is there to savage apart from some of the most stupid comments to ever grace FR. Hurricane-controlling generators from Russia that are tapping into the earths magnetosphere and energized solar winds using eccentric orbital stations, and yet Russia needed help raising a sub just recently.
Savage what? All I see in your posts is a mix of atrophied logic and stunted knowledge. Post something coherent, and FACTUAL or at least VIABLE, and then you can accuse me of savaging that. Until then I will laugh at your hurricane controlling generators for the retarded spiel that they are.

LOL. This is getting ridiculous. All you do is further reveal your ineptness to all and sundry that read your posts.
Hilarious.
