How about seeing if you can slip in something about making NaNoWriMo one of this year's work achievement goals?
The Hobbit Hole: Bacon of Restraint
Mmmmmm.... bacon.
What is it?
Heh. I betcha they wouldn't notice. I could roll it into the personal development section to improve my writing skills. :P
I dare you...
It's bad enough that I'll be storyboarding while I'm on my next trip. :P
How is that bad? Good use of useless time.
Well, I won't be using my personal computing equipment...*grimace*
Bah!
I need to do more plotting myself. I don't have time this year to make mistakes...
LOL!! He looks a little like my late m-i-l in that picture!
My brainstorm for storyboarding is going to use Excel. I'll use textboxes for each major plot point with different colors for the different story threads. Then I'll move them around like sticky notes until I like it.
That's a great idea!
I'd really like to figure out how I best plot. Then I could make a tool to help with it. Unforunately I can't get past step one.
I'm trying Nanowrimo again, but I'm going the stream of consciousness route...
I go back and forth between plotted-to-death, skin-of-my-teeth, and something in between. This year is mostly in between but I'm just not happy yet with my plans.
Plus I probably have to do more research into art theft...
I've basically got my opening paragraph (edited for television viewing) and a few names. I'll see what happens.
Details! Details!
Oh and the plan is still to destroy the world.
I still don't have a plot. I have a pair of characters and a background I invented a couple years back that are just too fun not to revive. And a few more characters hanging around the sidelines who should get used. One of them wants to be a second viewpoint but I don't think I'll let him.
I have an idea for a good opener, I know what eventually happens to the characters (maybe not in this story though) but there's no story... I've only written them at short-story lengths but there's a novel in there somewhere.
Plot? What's that?
