Here is tonight's sci-fi listing:
7/6 - Firefly. Again the sci-fi channel showing repeats of Firefly and showing previews of the movie Serentiy..
8/7 - Stargate SG1. Samatha Carter Returns!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!! Last weeks episode was awesome. The priors are mean and can we really stop them? Also the Ori religion is very similar to a certain religion that we know.. If you get my meaning....
9/8 - Stargate Atlantis. The team finds a new powersource that threatens Atlantis. Last weeks episode was good.. The lesson was never deal with the Devil...
10/9 - Battlestar Galatica. They return to Kobol to find the direction to Earth. Well Caprica arc is over :( . It was kinda interesting to see what the Cylons had in plan for the human race..
The thing I like about B5 is that it broke the Star Trek monopoly in American Sci-Fi tv.. If it wasn't Trek, there was no way in heck it was going to be shown..
Hee hee hee. :)
I could not be happier that the Caprica arc on BSG is finally over. I have $5 that says Anders was a Cylon, and the whole thing was a setup.
Gorram right. Ain't no ta ma de hun dan gonna keep me from parkin' my keister in front of the tube during Firefly tonight.
If for nothing else that I find learnin' to swear in Chinese interestin'.
It seemed to easy for Starbuck and Helo to get off the planet.. Way to easy..
I demand a Farscape feature film!!
BTW, please add me to this ping list.
I expect Claudia Black to be on the show full time real soon. As for Ben Browder being on the show, the show has a new sense of being fresh. I also like the enemy the Ori. They make the Goaulds look like girly man..
I don't care if there some kind emergency.. A Ufo hovering over Washington, Bin Landen has been captured, or something big... I'm still watching Firefly..
Teyla is uber-cute.
Good with sticks too
You liked League of Gentlement, we already know you have no taste. You could be a better opposite indicator than Ebert ;)
And it's about damn time, too...
Bow to my superior debating skills! :)
So superior I couldn't even properly remember the name of the stupid movie ;)
What can I say? :o) I loved it...went to see it in the theater four times. I'm never one to nitpick about small details; if it entertains me, I'm happy. Same reason I enjoyed VAN HELSING.
The important part is to know what you like. I never got around to Van Helsing, just didn't look up my alley. Did go to see Land of the Dead though, that was a mission having never seen a Romero zombie flick in a theater before, so I don't really have any room to claim other people like stupid movies.
I've never been into zombie flicks (I have seen the original NotLD, though). There have been only a few movies that I have absolutely, utterly despised (COOL WORLD being one--spent the rest of my night apologizing to my date for that one).
I pretty much only like Romero zombie movies, he actually manages to tell a story in his zombie flicks. Though Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things is great (plot: film students decide to make a zombie movie, since they can't afford extras and make-up they decide to actually resurrect the dead, the obvious ensues... movie actually made by film students using their names for the character names, highly intentionally funny). I don't think I ever saw Cool World, Bakshi's never really been good on plot though so it wouldn't suprise me that it sucks. I'm pretty forgiving of most movies, but League really butchered a really good Alan Moore story so it extra irritated.
