These stunning cities of the past stand as clues to a mystery thousands of years old. While Europe was in the dark ages, it was the Maya who harnessed the knowledge of the stars, and the celestial movements, to create a mystical union of man, nature and the gods. It was a world of great kings, elaborate ceremonies, fierce battles, and even human sacrifice.
18 Survivors will be marooned within this mysterious and rugged terrain.
For the first time, the castaways will actually live within the ruins of a vanished civilization, and they will be forced to embrace the ancient Maya lifestyle.

I have to disagree with all those who think Cindy had a chance of she gave up her car for the others. They still would have voted her off.
If Cindy set up the deal with all four of them to never vote against her, she would make it to the final two and get a $100K.
Any person who would have voted against her would have been branded a traitor and liar, not only in this game but in their real life. The cost for that vote would have been huge. Only an idiot would take that chance.
She screwed up big time.
Just my 2 cents
The only thing about that is I think the survivors must abide by an agreement to not make deals for votes, like splitting the million.
They've made deals in the past.

Good Morning FReepers and FReeperettes! It's Sunday so that means it's time for your:
The Final Four
Danni, Lydia, Rafe, StepheME
The Jury:
Bobby Jon, Jamie, Gary, Judd, Cindy
The Losers:
Jim, Morgan, Brianna, Brooke, Blake, Margaret, Brian, Amy, Brandon
Let's get to it shall we.
Tonight's final episode is titled "Thunder Storms and Sacrifice"
The official SeeBS website doesnt give us much to go on.:
A surprise from a local family quickly shakes up the Final Four in a traditional Maya ceremony. Later, a surprise thunderstorm sets the Survivors wondering if a decision they made upset the Maya gods.
Two Survivors question their alliance and agree on who should be eliminated. Will this decision work to their advantage?
With only three days left, the Final Four face off in an intense battle to make it to the end. Who will outwit, outlast and outplay to be become the Sole Survivor?
The first Immunity Challenge appears to be a maze race. Navigate through the maze to find rungs to a ladder. The first person to retrieve all their ladder rungs and climb to the top of their ladder wins Immunity and a 1 in 3 chance at a Million Bucks. Either the producers goofed and negelected to edit their promos correctly, or they just dont care, but this vidcap clearly shows Rafe with the ugly necklace at Tribal Council.

So it looks like he wins Immunity first.
We are given no clue as to what the Final Immunity Challenge will be so at this point it is pure guess work as to who wins. Im going to go along with the rest of the spoiler websites and say that Danni wins the Final Immunity Challenge.
Now the following questions remain:,
Who gets booted at Final Four?
It looks as if Central Scrutiniser will get his wish after all. Since Rafe wins the Ugly necklace I see Lydia getting the boot first. This leaves Rafe, Danni and StepheME as the final three.
Who get booted at Final Three?
Since Ive picked Danni to win the final Immunity Challenge, Ive got to believe that she has come this far and decides that she will have a better shot at the Million Buck if she takes StepheME into the final Tribal Council instead of Rafe. So look at Rafe winning $75,000 and taking third place.
Who wins the title of Sole Survivor, a new car, and the Million Bucks?
Well, lets look at who the Jury will likely vote for.
Bobby Jon: Other than the very first episode, Bobby Jon hasnt had a kind word to say about StepheME. After all, she bested him in Palau and she has lasted longer here in Guatemala, and she orchestrated his booting. On the other hand, she did promise him that she would do her best to fullfill his lifelong dream of making the Jury, so Bobby Jon could feel like he owes her. Bobby Jons vote could go either way, but I think he will cast a vote for Danni, just to spite StepheME.
Jamie: Without a doubt Jamie knows that StepheME orchestrated his booting along with his comment during the very first episode of How am I going to win a million dollars now that she's here? so here is a solid vote for Danni.
Gary: I dont think there is any doubt in anybodys mind who Gary is going to cast his vote for? Chalk another vote up to Danni.
Judd: Judd thinks all of them are scumbags, but he knows it was StepheME who was the head scumbag in charge! that lead to his backstabbing, so here is another vote for Danni.
Cindy: I dont think that Cindy holds any grudge against StepheME, other than maybe a slight feeling of She has been here before, why should she get another chance. But just so its not a total blow out, Ill say Cindys vote goes StepheMEs way.
Lydia: Lydia has criticized StepheME for Getting more than her fair share of the food rewards and StepheME has treated her as her own little water carrier. On the other hand, it seems at times, as if Lydia and StepheME has had a secrete alliance. Either way, Im gonna say that Lydia votes for Danni.
Rafe: No doubt here. Danni promised Rafe a final two and then sent him packing when she won the final Immunity Necklace. Chalk another one up for StepheME.
Well, there you have it:
First Immunity Challenge Winner: Rafe
Final Four bootee: Lydia
Final Immunity Challenge Winner: Danni
Final Three bootee: Rafe
Winner of Survivor Guatemala: Danni with five of the seven Jury votes.
Finally, I would like to thank each of you for your support and for reading my rantings and ravings this season.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Take care and Ill see you next season!
FReepmail me if you want added to, or removed from the one, the only, Official Survivor Ping List.
Cuz, I'm really liking your picks for tonight. Maybe Danni can use some of her $1 million to buy some food and put some meat on her bones!
Good summation, cuz! Any way we can place bets on this in Vegas or something?

Cuz, thank you for hosting this great thread and for all the work you've put into it. It's been a lot of fun and I'm sad to see it end.
Looking forward to tonight's show and to next season (when does it start? February?)
Gawd....Survivor, AI, and 24 threads...all running..can we stand it?
And TAR :)
Hey Cuz, I have to disagree with you about the first part. I think Rafe and Danni decide to boot out Steph. And they get Lydia to go with them of course. I think Rafe and Danni have a sincere pact and Danni will pick him for the final 2 as she promised him or vice versa. Yes they could either one pick Lydia to get to the jury with and probably be assured of a million. The final immunity I think will probably be a stamina type long one like standing and holding on to a post or something like that. I think either Rafe or or Danni would win over Steph. I am rooting for Danni to win the million.
never seen it..
I thought you were on the TAR thread too. There's so many threads I must have confused them :)
Cindy should have taken the car and driven over Lydia.
Danni or Rafe wins, the other two are repugnant.
"Cindy should have taken the car and driven over Lydia."

What? and ruin the front end?

My prediction for tonight:
Probst will pose the following question to the four losers of the Vehicle Reward Challenge: Would you have voted off Cindy if she had given each of you a car?
ALL FOUR will say there would have been no way they would have voted out Cindy. Cindy will look sheepishly at them, realizing that she just lost at least the $100K second place prize.
I'll have to take your word that Danni will win, but all I can say is "who's Dani?" IMO, a real nonentity, whose name I could never remember.
I do hope that Lydia leaves first tonight, but a wise Survivor would want to go up against her in the final vote, as she's contributed exactly zilch to the game. Hopefully, the days of voting for the least deserving contestant are over, and the jury is predominantly men, who are unlikely to go with a sympathy vote. Therefore, anyone up against Lydia would win.
I like Rafe and Steph, for different reasons. Steph because she's outwitted virtually everyone and lasted this long though she went in with a big red target on her back. Good playing! The motto of Survivor, after all, is Outwit, Outlast, Outplay. It's not a competition for scout badges. Rafe has managed to earn a few scout badges while being very wily at the same time. But Steph's outwitting talents give her an edge in my book and I hope she wins.
Survivor winner: Danni
Runner up:
PING!
Mike Wallace just said that this will be an "abbreviated 60 Minutes", so maybe the show will start on time at 8/7.
Scratch that--Survivor will probably start at 8:30/7:30.
