Hidden deep in the rainforests of Central America, stand the ruins of an ancient civilization that once prospered, and then vanished. These were the Maya people, and this is the country of Guatemala.
These stunning cities of the past stand as clues to a mystery thousands of years old. While Europe was in the dark ages, it was the Maya who harnessed the knowledge of the stars, and the celestial movements, to create a mystical union of man, nature and the gods. It was a world of great kings, elaborate ceremonies, fierce battles, and even human sacrifice.
18 Survivors will be marooned within this mysterious and rugged terrain.
For the first time, the castaways will actually live within the ruins of a vanished civilization, and they will be forced to embrace the ancient Maya lifestyle.

I had to watch the show late tonight, but what I cannot understand is why they went to Stephanie? Was it because they knew she would switch before Judd? Because if I had to take one over the other I would have kept Judd. He's not real bright when it comes to the mental challenges.
I saw Gary get tickled when Judd was voted out. :) I hope Danni wins. She seems to be working it.

Because without Judd, StepheME is a sitting duck. She screwed herself by voting for Judd.

I hope so because I can't stand her. I could tolerate Judd before her. She strikes me as one who smiles to your face and is nasty behind your back. She proved that to Judd and Jamie can't be too happy with her. Don't know what she's thinking the whole jury at this point doesn't like her.

I watched late tonite also. I was puzzled by the fact that when Danni approached StephME with the story of her overhearing Judd & Lydia's conversation, about Judd still being mad over Jamie's ouster, Why didn't StephME go to Judd to get his version of what was going on?
She just took Danni's word for it. StephME made a big mistake voting out Judd. He was her strongest ally.

Because without Judd, StepheME is a sitting duck. She screwed herself by voting for Judd. That was a stupid move by Steph. Not only is she vulnerable in the game, but now, if she makes it to the Final Two, she's vulnerable to the jury.

You are right. But I guess when you get all the pleasures a married couple has without having to make a commitment, why bother? At least that is how a lot of people look at it.

I don't think Rafe is ready to give up StepheME, yet. He's still pretty tight to her.
We shouldn't be jumping to conclusions about Steph's position. Looking back, I think Rafe may have been the one calling the shots, and not Steph, like everyone seems to think.
So far, Steph has done whatever Rafe suggested when it came time to break down their alliance. It was Rafe who suggested blindsiding Jamie. It was Rafe who suggested dumping Judd. Both times someone in their alliance was left in the dark. Once time Judd was left in the dark, and this time it was Cindy.
That being said, it was Lydia and Danni who did the manipulation on this vote by approaching Judd and trolling for votes. When Judd said he'd go against Steph or Rafe if it improved his position, and they took that info to Rafe, Judd was a goner.
IMO, Cindy's next. There's a new alliance, and Steph wasn't included in it. She was probably closest to Judd, and he's gone. Danni's pulled off a coup with the help of Lydia and I don't think Rafe and Steph know they've been played.

And, what's funny is that he was lying about it. In no way would he have voted against Steph, or even Rafe at this point.
So, he lies to Lydia and Danni and they take the "info" to Rafe and Steph, and presto, bingo, Judd's gone. :-)

I didn't start seeing it until a week or so ago. But, I'm seeing a very subtle manipulation of the group and I think Rafe's been very, very slick.
I'm predicting a Rafe, Danni, StepheME final 3 with Danni or Steph winning the final immunity and bringing the other female to the final 2 with them. IMO, the only way Rafe makes the final 2 is if he wins the final immunity. If he does, I think he wins the whole thing.
He hasn't made any enemies, and he's played the game very, very well. I'll never forget one of the early tribal immunities and he couldn't climb the rope ladder. That must have been all acting as he didn't want to seem a threat early. Then, when indiviudal immunities began, he started kicking immunity butt.
