These stunning cities of the past stand as clues to a mystery thousands of years old. While Europe was in the dark ages, it was the Maya who harnessed the knowledge of the stars, and the celestial movements, to create a mystical union of man, nature and the gods. It was a world of great kings, elaborate ceremonies, fierce battles, and even human sacrifice.
18 Survivors will be marooned within this mysterious and rugged terrain.
For the first time, the castaways will actually live within the ruins of a vanished civilization, and they will be forced to embrace the ancient Maya lifestyle.

kudos..not bad at all...LOL
Since I'm neither gay or Mormon, I'm not qualified to answer your question. Or was that yet another of your rhetorical questions?
I am beginning to hope that that little gay Mormon wins. Rafe is about the only one of the remaining surivors that I can stand.
How often has it been that someone who has totally flown under the radar, has won Survivor?
Wonder if now that Gary is on the jury, if he will drop the 90 pound weakling act?
more than a few times. And I don't think the weakling thing with Gary was an act, he was looking pretty emaciated there.
Yep, on one of his post game interviews, he admitted that he had lost 30 pounds in 30 days.
Now that may not seem like much, particularly when you look at Ted from Survivor: Thailand losing 63 pounds in 36 days, but Gary didn't have that much extra to begin with.
It pays to pack on the pounds before you do a game like that. Judd looks like he had plenty he could afford to lose.
I think we're about to see two divergent strategies emerge. Some layers will want to go to the final 2 with Steffani, because they figuyre that the jury will NEVER vote to give her the $$$, on the theory that they won't want to reward her for having two chances at the $$..So steff will try to take out those players early..she'll have to restructure alliances..
FYI....ALL my questions on this thread are rhetorical, if not theoretical. And not only does I resents the alligation, but I resents the alligator..er, crocodile..

Good Morning FReepers and FReeperettes! Its Thursday, so that means its time for your:
The Xhakum Tribe: (red buffs)
Cindy, Danni, Judd, Lydia, Rafe, StepheME
The Jury:
Bobby Jon, Jamie, Gary
The Losers:
Jim, Morgan, Brianna, Brooke, Blake, Margaret, Brian, Amy, Brandon
Lets get to it shall we.
Tonights episode is titled "Price for Immunity"
From the official SeeBS website:
In an attempt to break up the Final Four, one Survivor plants doubt in another's mind. Will this strategic risk turn the tide? It appears the Final Four they are referring about is StepheME, Cindy, Rafe and Judd. And since it appears as if Lydia has resigned herself to fifth place at best, I would say that Danni is the one to plant a seed of doubt in anothers mind. And that person is Judd.
One Survivor receives a sealed envelope containing a clue that could provide an advantage in the next Immunity Challenge. The spoiler websites are certain that Danni wins this envelope, since this vidcap shows the tribe going to Tribal Council and Danni is wearing the Ugly Necklace. (Kudos to the folks over at SurvivorFever.net for spotting this.)
A bidding war breaks out at a Reward Challenge auction when family members and loved ones show up unannounced. The spoiler websites are also saying that Judd wins this bidding war when he borrows money from other players. They also say that he shares this reward with Cindy and StepheME. Judds wife - Kristen, Cindys twin sister Mindy, and StepheMEs boyfriend Michael all partake in the family visit.
Regarding the Reward Challenge, we now know that this is the typical auction with a couple of twists. The first being the envelope containing the clue in the next Immunity Challenge. Some on the spoiler websites believe that this envelope in fact contains the Ugly Necklace, and Danni wins the bidding. The second twist is when the family members and loved ones show up in the middle of the auction. The ones who have already spent their money are out of luck while the ones who have held out for something better end up winning the bidding.
The promos do not give us any hints as to the Immunity Challenge. This is what leads some to believe that there isnt an Immunity Challenge due to Dannis envelope containing the ugly necklace. Either way, the vidcap shown above makes it a mute point. Danni has the Ugly Necklace and is Immune from tonights vote.
Well, there you have it:
Reward Challenge Winner: The family visit winner is Judd who shares with Cindy and StepheME.
Immunity Challenge Winner: Danni
Tribal Council Bootee(s): Judd (Thats not a typo. See the comments below.)
Id like to take a moment here to throw out an idea and see what you think.
So far, since the merge, we have seen four men in a row get the boot. (Brandon, Bobby Jon, Jamie and Gary) Couple this with tonights boot of Judd (Im 75% sure of this pick) and you have five men in a row.
What if all this brew-ha-ha about Lydia fighting with StepheME is an act?
What if StepheME is actually masterminding an Estrogen Alliance of herself, Cindy, Lydia and Danni?
Will we see our first all female final four?
Will the women consider Rafe one of them?
Or do they think of him as simply a testosterone factory, unworthy of their alliance?
What do you think?
Take care,
FReepmail me if you want added to, or removed from the one, the only, Official Survivor Ping List.
I just don't see an Estrogen Alliance forming. None of the other ladies trust Steph (Lydia might, but I think she'll grab onto anything that floats at this point). And Steph has to know that if she goes to the Final Two with any other woman sitting beside her, then that other woman is going to win--and that includes Rafe.
1. The videoclip is retouched..to purposely throw off/confuse the spoiler websites.
2. The pic is from a LATER episode...so Danni doesn't win this one, but one of the following..
But all six remaining surivors are in the pic. It has to be from tonight's episode.
So your saying tonight's episode is a "non-elimination" like in the Amazing Race?
After all, we clearly see all six of the remaining contestants in this vidcap, so if this is a "LATER" episode, then. . .
tin foil hat theory is right! :~D
Rafe as a testosterone factory?!?!?! Wow, that one really had me ROFL. No, I think Judd's impending boot has more to do with his lying than any conspiracy among the women.
BTW..we do need one pre-AI thread...
please see my mea culpa in #1619...you guys are sharp...
