Kitty Caption CVIII – New Mother’s Day – (Humor/Meow Alerts)
8 August 2005 | PetroniDE

Posted on 08/08/2005 9:08:02 AM PDT by PetroniDE

Vacation time is over. Back to the normal routine.

I did meet two freepers for the first time on the trip to Las Vegas (both living on the west coast). Chick magnets we are not; but since I was able to leave with some extra cash, I qualify as “chip magnet”. I won playing the “darkside (don’t pass/don’t come) on the craps table at Casino Royale.

Seven Out !!! Line Away, Don’t We Pay !!! -- Play The Darkside.

Now this is a “chick magnet”.

Something for the Houston people. Astros lead the NL wild card race and they are hot.
We found a couple of “furry fans”.

Mother’s Day in August? -- Yes !! -- Wednesday of this week is FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL !!

They are twins! Actually quads... they have two sisters.

Chloe has slightly lighter markings and has an orange streak next to her nose. Tori has white next to her nose and slightly darker fur.

Right now I can't tell who's who from behind. Their tails are sometimes an indicator; Tori's is always straight up like Tigger's was. Chloe is a little less outgoing, but still very playful.

I just want to bend down, pick one up, and cuddle with it, though those two look more like they're in the mood to wrestle with each other (via claws and teeth).

Or when (like mine) they wrestle at the foot of the bed at 3AM! It's all about them . . .

I read about how Oregon wants to make every road in the state a tollway. I am ready to give L.A., S.F., and Hollywood back to Mexico. I would like to give Oregon back to the British, but they have enough problems right now.

You can probably give Los Angeles back to Mexico but SF and Hollywood are already owned by Satan. Sorry.

Thanks!

Tori already took a flying lesson. She fell off the second floor balcony and landed on the table in the entrance hall this morning. I don't know what scared her more, the fall or my scream.

She thought it was a grand adventure.

I hear you!

Deimos has gotten a few flying lessons too. He has decided that my socks are his mortal enemies. His favorite time for a full frontal assault is when they are on my feet.

[Little twerp seems to like it. ;^)]

LOL! Tori has an affinity for toenails. For some reason my big toe is a "toy".

I must kitten proof the house tonight. I spend the weekend following them around, snatching them away from harm. I need a nap.

I think Dad might have been a maine coon. They look it, especially around the eyes. Maybe a tortie/maine coon combo?

They are so fun to watch! And so tiny! They're only 2 pounds each right now.

Precious, precious babies! Please keep us apprised of their adventures - which are bound to be numerous since they have one another to bounce things off of, so to speak. Then there's always the question of when they'll decide to grow up, or if....

We have a two-year-old Siameezer named Rhys who may have attempted kitty-cide over the weekend. Raced down the stairs after his big bro, Taylor, which is a game they play a minimum of once a day. Trouble was, Rhys blew out at warp speed when he hit the hardwoods and ended up spinning into an upholstered chair. Unusual, since he figured out how to control the spin 'n slide factor approx. 1.5 times after he decided to enter those events.

Ah well, no harm done and I guess it's kind of nice that he's got some kitten left in him. Maybe it relates to his being the third child and/or the clown in our Siamese family - though I doubt that's the case. He's a smart fella. Probably figured out that being too adult isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sure isn't as much fun, that's for sure. Know a few people who would do well to adopt that line of thinking. If they liked cats, maybe they would....

I've had the kittens for two days and I've already discovered that they bounce. I guess kittens are built that way on purpose. :-)

Yes they do. The cats loved to ride in the car. It was quite a sight to see who would get in first, the dog, the cats or the people! rofl
