Kitty Caption CVIII – New Mother’s Day – (Humor/Meow Alerts)
8 August 2005 | PetroniDE

Posted on 08/08/2005 9:08:02 AM PDT by PetroniDE

Vacation time is over. Back to the normal routine.

I did meet two freepers for the first time on the trip to Las Vegas (both living on the west coast). Chick magnets we are not; but since I was able to leave with some extra cash, I qualify as “chip magnet”. I won playing the “darkside (don’t pass/don’t come) on the craps table at Casino Royale.

Seven Out !!! Line Away, Don’t We Pay !!! -- Play The Darkside.

Now this is a “chick magnet”.

Something for the Houston people. Astros lead the NL wild card race and they are hot.
We found a couple of “furry fans”.

Mother’s Day in August? -- Yes !! -- Wednesday of this week is FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL !!

Kitty Humor is a weekly thread (usually on Monday) on FR in the “General Interest” section.
Among all the serious news, a little humor, brought to us by our feline friends is a nice break.
Helps us get the week to a nice start.
If you want on/off the kitty humor list (177 members) or you have a picture/animation you want featured, please send me freep-mail.

Welcome back! Was your kitty laying on the suitcase because he/she didn't want you to leave again? ; )

My Kitty does that--in fact she gets in the suitcase and tries to prevent me from packing when I have been on the road too much. I'm afraid one day I'm going to arrive at my destination, open my suitcase, and find her curled up inside.

Our cats used to get in the suitcases when we packed. They wanted to come too.

My cat does like to lie on and in the suitcase. I think it is similar to the paper bag. He thinks it is a toy.

Next time it will be cat goes on vacation, owner gets boarded at the vet.

Sometimes I think it is a matter of being the center of attention for cats. Our cats like to lay on anything we are reading. My cat used to walk between me and the computer screen when we had internet access, and he would do it without stepping on the keyboard! He would also have to lay on my lap (and still does) while I'm on the computer. A couple had to get in the middle of filling watering cans to fertilize flowers yesterday. One or more has to check out what I'm doing when I'm packing my vitamins for the next day. My mom had a cat that would lay on the top of her sewing machine while she was sewing!

I love looking at those last kitties. Reminds me of my cat. I just want to bend down, pick one up, and cuddle with it, though those two look more like they're in the mood to wrestle with each other (via claws and teeth).

They look like identical twins. How can you tell which is whick (besides yelling Damnit and see which one responds)?
