Tonight on Sci - Fi:
7/6 - Firefly: Showing the new trailer for the movie Serentiy.
8/7 - Stargate SG1: Finally get to see the new bad guys. The Ori... So far SG1 seems renewed with the addition of Ben Browder.. So far it is good..
9/8 - Stargate Atlantis: The new character Ronnon Dex is introduced. Last weeks episode was ok.. It was funny seeing the Asgard swear, but I hope they don't make the Asgard to funny.
10/9 - Battlestar Galatica: Colonel Tigh declares martial law.. We are going to see why is not capable of running a battlestar.

I'm not a big TV watcher, but did catch the last few episodes of SG1. Changes seem to be for the better, story and characters are much more interesting than the last couple of seasons...I had sort of lost interest because it all seemed same old, same old.

SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis are interesting.
But the new Battlestar Galactica is addicting to me to the extreme..!!!

Way too slow...
In an hour not much happens...
B5 is still my favorite.

I can't find Firefly on DVD to save my life. Wanted to get it from a brick and mortar, but that's looking bleak.
Please add me to your ping list.

You're kidding right? B5 with it's cheesey revolvers, and "what's wrong with a" doors? Not to mention that pretentious LITTLE puffbag Harlon Ellison ;o)

Yeah, I know. I just get kinda tired of fans kissing B5's ring. It reminds me of the MSM pushing "Bush should apologize." Like if you have an opinion worth having, you'll agree, or somesuch nonsense.
Babylon 5 was okay, but it wasn't Sci Fi Shakespeare. There was much about it that was just plain cheesy. Remember the revered ancient race that looked like an evolutionary leap on the x-box game controller? Next thing you know they would have put a cape on a Roomba!

I agree with you on the last couple of seasons. I think it had to do with RDA. He was getting tired... I consider this a new season 1 for Sg1...

I love BSG, but it would be nice to, you know, weave some of the plot threads back together. A lot happened in the first two eps this season, but the plot didn't advance much. Hopefully tonight we'll see some major advancement.

That is heresy. O'Neill is the greatest, but don't blame Anderson for getting tired of the weekly series grind. He did it for 8 years on macGyver and 8 on SG1.
I love SG1, but just started watching it this year. I purchased quite few DVD's of earlier seasons.
I have Firefly on DVD. It's easy to find (Amazon) I got it for Xmas tho.
