Many threads last week about cats; however, I missed the best parts and many of them were troll threads that were zotted before I had a chance to view. That is what happens when you snooze through the news. Some news last week that I didnt miss.
Roberts a good choice for USSC, but here is a better one (also includes potential robe change).

Hey, did you hear on the news today they've discovered that cats don't have a sweet tooth? They don't like sweets. How much do you think they got paid for that study. How long did it take and what did they do?
Whoever did that study should get NO money. What a waste!
They obviously don't know cats. I've never had a cat that didn't like sweets. We have to keep all our sweet treats locked up in a closet to keep these cats out of them.
I knew that'd tick you off. What ticks me off is why do they never poll owners?
That could've been a couple million dollars I could use intelligently.
Since I was a little kid a very long time ago, I knew experts were blowhards. Tell me why a veterinarian would not know that dogs could smile.
What ticks me off is that I haven't thought of doing one of these "studies" and made a mint from it. LOL!
I've got to wonder where they get their info for these "studies". If they want to poll someone about cats, they can call me. I'll give 'em more than they bargained for. :-)
I'd say a veterinarian who doesn't know dogs can smile is simply in the business for money. I'd say a vet who's in it because they love animals would know.
It's because you are not working in R&D and in desperate need for funding in order to keep your job.
True. But I have a BIG "herd" of cats who love to eat, and that kind of money would buy a LOT of cat food and litter. LOL!
That's why I know you know the answers!
It's also why, though I could give you bigger compliments about your photos, I don't because no other person on FR has as many good subjects as you do! LOL!
I don't know all the answers but with so many good "teachers", I'm learnin' something new all the time. hehe!
These cats certainly are hogs for the camera and are loads of fun to photograph. I get frustrated when I can't get into my "closet" when something comes up here that one of my pics would be good for. I've missed some good opportunities.
Off to slap some supper together. Hubby just got home from AL. and is one hungry man.
haha. yeah, i thought it was the kitty noise at first, but it's just the noise of the kitty's tongue on the monitor screen. that's all :-)
My roommate so badly wants a cat. I tell her no, I'm highly allergic. Your thread is the next best thing.
