I am preparing s paper for my sociology class on the subject of why gay men lisp. I have posted inquiries on numerous forums that may have participants who could give insight into this subject.
Is this a genetic trait as a side property of the natural predisposition to be gay? Or is it something about the habits of gay men that causes it? Perhaps, it is cultural - a way for gay men to let other gay men know that they are gay.
Please give me your input. Please, no jokes.
LOL!!
I LOVE that line!
Condi for Prez!!

Oh yeah.
I just love her.
She's smart, discreet, talented, pretty and she has a great wardrobe.
gay butt-'le,
I have often wondered why so many homosexual men lisp.
I have also wondered why so many of them swish when they walk, dance with their arms above the plane of the shoulder, mince when seated, display grossly exaggerated emotions and gestural emotional cues, and when standing arms-akimbo plant their palms on their short ribs with the fingers extended straight down......
I am disinclined to believe that so many unrelated characteristic behaviours could have correlative genetic causes.
I strongly suspect that it is all affectation.
I hypothesize these affected mannerisms, all of which are cartoon stereotypes of feminine behaviors, cause the affecting person to feel what he believes to be feminine sensations or self-perception.
It is possible that this is in some way related to the biofeedback effect of smiling when one is not in a good humour - the act of smiling tends to release neurochemicals which tend to lead to an improvement of one's mood.
All such idle speculation aside, that was a real bone-head question to post on this forum.
How could you all let 102 posts go by without posting Eric Estrada?
.... glad I got here when I did......
LOL
Good evening Sir!
Nobody can post quite like you do!

*bows*
it's the sudden shifts in gears.
starting with pure lampoon, switching immediately to serious discussion mode, then without prelude dismissing the serious bit as a frivolous exercise and going in for a body slam.
truly, it is formulaic.
;)
Most impressive, indeed!
Ms.B
Haven't ever given much thought (none, actually) as to why the pole-smokers tend to *liissspppp* so sweetly. Probably just what you speculated, an affectation.
we try, we try...
by the way, I *love* my new battery-backUPS
we have lightning in the area now, my lights have flickered twice in the last ten minutes, and my computer is blithely thumbing its nose at the weather.
I second that!
Thanks!
Condi ROCKS!
Ms.B
I agree! I especially like her tough attitude. She does not take no BS from liberals and their communist friends. And I also especially like her for her stance on guns. She is very pro-Gun. She personally defended herself with one.
She did?
I didn't know that..
Can you tell me what happened?
Ms.B
ping
It was in 1963. Her father's guns were not registered and therefore not taken away by authorities. They defended themselves against white supremicists.
Alright Condi!
Second amendment sister!
