I think the Harry-Ginny thing is cute too, and was amused during the whole book with Ron and Hermione. Some might object to all the lovey-dovey stuff, but hey, they are teenagers, and they've been through a lot together.

I don't know if you read earlier in the thread, but I don't think DD is dead. I don't think Snape put the hate into the Avada Kadavra, and thus didn't kill him, just stuned him long enough to make folks think he was dead. Remember Mad Eye Moody talking about the students collectively not being able to give him more than a nosebleed, and didn't Bellatrix make fun of Harry because he didn't have enough real hate in him to do the curse properly on her at the battle at the Ministry in OOTP?? I want to listen to OOTP again before I re-read HBP. We're taking the cassettes with us on the plane, and we'll have LOTS of hours to listen to it. The trip from Chicago to Tokyo is almost 13 hours!!

But would that be enough to fulfill the unbreakable vow he made with Narcissa? Draco's mission was to kill Dumbledore. I don't think faking it is enough.

But he dropped off the top of the tower... I'm sure he's dead. It would be such a cheat if he weren't. Very "Star Wars" or LotR.

Thought Ron and Hermione were cute. They've been cute since the first book. Harry/Ginny is ok.... See, I agree Remus needs someone to look after him but that's not Tonks. She can't take care of herself.
