My family figured out the identity of the HBP within the chapter of his intro. Thought it was almost too obvious. Knew Dumbledore was going to die, too, but that was good. Am willing to bet on "R.A.B." being Regulus Black - hey, with a brother that cool, maybe he's not totally worthless.
On my re-read I concentrated on Snape... he's not working for Voldie. Dumbledore must have told him what he had to do. No way he's truly evil.
And sorry, Lupin and Tonks don't work for me. But otherwise a really great book.
