I know what you mean. I'm taking my sweet time with this re-read. I read it in a day the first time. I started this re-read over the weekend and am still only about 1/3 of the way through.

If you have finished the book, I suggest you
go to this site for some really fascinating
clues...some of which have been discussed here
and some entirely new clues re Dumbledore,Snape,
and other characters. This guy is GOOD!

Ok, just one question: How does a guy find the time to whip up a website like that in the space of 10 days?

Good question. I figured it would be a webpage, not a site, and read through the whole intro before realizing that the clues are on the sidebar.

And now I don't have time to read them! I have to clean the bathrooms!!!

Yeah, it's no fun when real life comes a-knockin. I clean the bathrooms every week, though, so they're never completely grunged over.

Allright, here's a puff question for everyone (the bathroom cleaning brought this on!): If you could work just one piece of magic, what would it be?

I would make my house unplottable and quit paying property taxes.

Ooo, that is a great one.

I think I would like to be an anamorphmagus (probably spelled wrong) like Tonks. I would love to change my hair and my looks whenever the mood struck.

I think he's an addict! Note the time of day when he
UPDATES his material: 2 a.m.!

Thanks Heavens for people like him who not only
go looking for clues, but absorb and link them!
Hey...maybe the guy has a mental connection to
JKR! <>g<>

To be able to apparate (spelling?)

Then it won't take me so long to get from work to home and visa versa

also it would eliminate the need to walk, run for buses or take really expensive taxis.

If I could work a piece of magic, I think it'd be to make myself able to fly.

I would totally want to be a metamorphmagus it just seems so cool to change your appearance at will so like if you didn't want someone to notice you you just change your appearance

I thought about this theory this morning....

Remember in HP & TSS, before the kids all reach the grand hall, Malfoy comes over to Harry and says something to the effect of "I can show you who the Good Wizarding Families are to hang with" EVERYONE knows who Harry is in the wizarding world, why would Malfoy want to be friends with him when Malfoy knows he is half muggle & Malfoy is soooo nasty about the whole "mudblood" thing? Do you think that his Dad asked him to befriend Harry? Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer?

What do you think of that?

I think that the death eaters arent totally opposed to half bloods (VM is a half blood) also I think Lucius might have told Draco to try to get in well with potter because it might drive away suspicion that they are VM supporters
