Yo! Ken! Your TV broke last night? I didn't see any posts about the game yesterday. What was the final score?

When your business card reads "Chien-Ming Wang's understudy," you know you're in for a long night against our lineup.
The test is tomorrow.

I was thinking...who wants it more in this series?
The Red Sox came back with a vengence after losing the first game. Let's hope they win the next two as well.
What doe anyone think of the Red Sox chances of repeating? Is it realistic, especially if Schilling does not fully recover to dominance?

The Yankees found their stopper-- Al Leiter. He'll face Wakefield on Sunday.
The Yankees are expected to send a low-level minor leaguer to the Marlins and pick up some of Leiter's remaining salary. Leiter, 39, was 3-7 with a 6.64 ERA for the Marlins when he was designated for assignment Thursday. He has a one-year contract worth $8 million, $4 million of which is outstanding.

the team is certainly likeable, but your manager is an idiot.

Whoop-de-damn-do. The Red Sox beat up on the immortal Tim Redding (already designated for assignment) and Darryl May and Jason Anderson (soon to be DFA.) But the Yankees have not only beaten Curt Schilling and Matt Clement, the team's two best pitchers, they are also only 1 1/2 games out of first, despite being written off for most of the year. What's a bigger accomplishment?

Life's a little less sweet today for the Red Sox Nation, ain't it?
1/2 game lead now. .....and dwindling.
Youse guys will be clawing for a wildcard spot by the time the two teams meet again.
