I could do without Tarantino's influence - I'm not that big on gore and violence. But that being said, the plot structure was so sophisticated and neat. I wish more movies would attempt something like that.

Indeed I have not. I did see The Prince and Me recently - another cute addition to the "American Princess" wing of the Chick Flick Library. Julia Stiles and some handsome Scandanavian guy. (I think we need more handsome Scandanavian actors in the world...)

My mom was feelin' a bit down, so I invited her to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding with me. It cheered her up and by then it was well past my bedtime.
Got up this morning with a bit of a sore throat and the girls are both coughing and sniffling.

Morning All - sip, (where's a caffine IV drip when you need one). Taking a break, Gypsygirl got a long walk this a.m. since the weather is unknown at this point. Naybers were doing 'home improvements guarranted to lower value' yesterday. We'll see if they continue today, sigh.
Ruthie - colds already, sorry to hear that.
Hair - trailride equals adventures, have fun while 'adventuring'.
OT: hmm. squirrels.. the other white meat. LSA blanched another batch of Romas yesterday and we had Beefsteak 'mater BLTs last night. New crop of Romas coming on nicely, the rain must've kicked 'em into production again. Working on a 'snakey' osage bow, lots of rasping yet to do, but the bow is definitely emerging from the cocoon of wood.
Rosie gave up around nine, but Talon and I made it all the way to the last "As you wish".
Next time I'll give more notice. But at least I had company for the movie!
Well that worked out pretty good then :~D
You can't watch a movie like that without company. If I'd been at home we'd have had a nine-voice chorus for the "prepare to die" and "mawwaige" bits.
