That's just wonderful. I wish I could have been there. I really do.
Yeah, that's for a desktop.
An excellent deal, any way you look at it!
Terrific 2J. You certainly deserve to do some shimmying!!
Thanks for your help on the grammer. The words you capitalized were still that way when I read it!
I'm starting to calm down...I was walking on air when I came. I think I'll head on to bed.
Good night all!
You're welcome. I'm glad it went so well. It sounds like all those women knew the score, and appreciated all that you've done to smooth the transition for them.
night 2J. Just checking in myself. Congrats on the meeting and your speech. Ya done good!
The Inspron 1100 has 2 memory modules; each can take up to a 512meg 266mHz SODIMM (pronounced SO-dim, stands for Small Outline Double Inline Memory Module), for a total of 1gB.
You should call Dell to find out if the memory must be paired --- that is, if both slots must have the same size SODIMM. I doubt that it needs to be paired, but better safe than sorry.
If the memory is not paired, then you can buy a single 512meg SODIMM, replace one of your 64meg SODIMMs, and have 576meg, which is LOTS better than 128meg. That way, you only have one SODIMM to put on eBay. Or, you can buy two of any other size --- 128meg, 256meg, 512meg --- and sell both your 64meg SODIMMs on eBay.
Installing/removing mem is easy-easy-easy. Get yourself a #0 or #1 Philips-head screwdriver; turn your computer off, unplug the ACAdapter, close the computer's lid, and turn the computer over so it's resting on the lid.
Orient the system so that the battery is in the upper right corner, and the hard drive is in the lower left. You'll notice the two rectangular doors, one in the middle of the system, one on the edge; the one on the edge should be on your left.
Now, remove the battery by sliding the battery latch (the thumb release in the middle of the bottom); the battery, upper right corner, should pop out. Slide it out of the computer.
Make sure there are no power sources attached to the computer before continuing.
For a picture, check out page 28 in this document. There are also illustrated instructions for un/reinstalling memory on page 100 of this document, and in this document.
You, ma'am... are *really* good at what you do. :-)
Have you been to Dealey Plaza yet?
I love roller coasters. And cuh-razy waterpark slides. "The Edge" at that Six Flags park looks fun; I was just up to Michigan's Adventure (a Cedar Point company park) two weekends ago where a recent installation, the Fnnel of Fear, is similar.
If I con swing the budget, I'd be glad to join anyone going to Six Flags.
Thanks Rose.
You're muh hero.
It burned it directly as a MIDI sequence. So that won't play...right?
I'll see what options I have tonight.
Wow...sounds like you had a good evening. I'm glad it's working out so well. Still, a broken friendship is a hard thing. Has your fbf tried to talk to you at all about it? She has to feel bad...right?
Mrsnad
She has not tried to contact me at all. From what i understand, they are steadfastly refusing to concede they did anything wrong. They actually believe that we are being "mean spirited" for organizing a new group and meeting on their night! My BA CHEF that I have been a part of for the past 5 years, a new group??
They can not believe we organized and continued on with BA CHEF.
The last time I spoke with FBF, was when she told me that if I had any bad feelings about the way the new support group had formed then I shouldn't join, and that the support group was not a democracy. She sounded hard...wouldn't explain their side. There was no warmth in her voice.
She was an absolute stranger to me.
It died then.
You're a nurse for heaven's sake! Do something!
~reaches over and solemnly draws the sheet up over the thread's face...~
Heh heh!
Good morning.
