Home is behind, the world ahead,

Funny story! I think it works out better to at least start out by fishing on those kind of things...
FWIW, on our first date, I asked the lady who later became my wife to go fishing with me in the Everglades. We rented a skiff, but as I recall we didn't catch anything! Except each other.
It helped that as we were driving home out of the Glades, there was one of the all time great sunsets. We were just kids, really, she was 18 and I was 21.
