It's the MONEY. They pay teachers to come in and teach. It never occurred to them that half their membership would decide it didn't want to join up with the new support group until now...and now they either have to allow BA CHEF to participate or loose that money for the co-op teachers.
So they are being gracious. /sarcasm
Oh that's a good idea...I have some ginger tea...
And some tension tamer, come to think of it...
ohh, I forgot to mention...
Speaking of gastronomically icky...
PE has been having bad "gas" episodes. The last one happened Thursday night, starting at about 11:00pm. It lasted all night and neither of us got to sleep until about 5 am. I convinced him to go to my doctor Friday afternoon. She believes he has a gallstone. She scheduled him for an ultrasound Monday at noon.
..or you could just go ahead and hurl...
Amazingly, at this point...it sounds like not a bad idea.
I gotta go...they'll be home from church any minute.
Thanks for talking to me...I can't say I feel better, but at least I got to talk about it.
What a mess! No wonder my mother was always so wary of homeschool support groups. It sounds to me like Celeste made an impulse decision; I wonder if maybe she thought she wasn't allowed to talk to you about it until it was done?
~insert upchuck smilie~
I hope she's able to see your side of things!
Try and enjoy the rest of your day!
(((2J)))Just catching up on reading all this and now your gone...
People will always...always...dissapoint us. Our husbands, friends, parents, and yes our beloved children. :-) It's hard when they do things like that when it seems out of character for them...that makes it even worse...because you trusted them. It's hard to let it go too, but eventually, you must or it will eat you up. She has to be feeling horid and wondering if she'll have friends after this. Pray for her 2J and once you've calmed down, come to her in peace and love...it will be like heaping burning coals upon her head. :-) Prayers for your group. I love our group here but am not in any leadership. I'm teachin basket weaving and macrame this fall but that's about it.
On a lighter note...big birthday wishes to Matthew! Thegirl will turn 10 in November and I just can't believe it. They grow so darn fast.
Tell Steve and the boys we say Hi...sorry I missed you...
Mrsnad
Yeah, that can be painful. My best wishes to PE!
*Sigh*
The instructions on the raised bed corners say to use lumber up to 4 feet. The longest boards I'm planning to use are at least 8 feet. I'm thinking about reinforcing the middle somehow - stakes inside and out wired together.
Guess I missed something in the advert.
Relative of yours, is he?
Happy Birthday Matthew!
This guy
<---"Zzzzzz"
will do that at the end of the month, and we were just talking about digit-gaining yesterday.
Painful, yes. Cause me to throw money around, not likely. LOL
Thanks
I've had that, ahem, gastronomical problem the last two days, myself. I thought it was just jet lag.
Is PE having really bad 'stomach pains'? My late m-i-l said that she had more pain with her gallstones than she ever had in her life. I'll keep him in my prayers, cause I have some of that gall-bladderish pain before. It is awful!
