New verse:

It's hotter here... and a bit humid today, too.
Then you'd love yesterday's thong thread.
We used to have a strawberry patch and we'd put rubber snakes in there to scare the birds away.
The problem was that we'd have to keep moving the snakes around because the birds got wise.
Still have the soundtrack on cassette somewhere.
Then go for MST3K, then you get hilarious running commentary along with the cheese.
Snakes might work, too.
Hey, I made yogurt using the heating pad...worked GREAT! Much better even than the attic yogurt.
I just made the culture like I usually do, poured it in a quart-sized canning jar and wrapped a towel around it, then wrapped the heating pad around it and tied it in place, then sat it on my countertop and actually forgot about it. It sat there for 13 hours till I woke up abruptly at 4:30am and remembered it. I went in and got it and put it in the fridge. I tasted it a bit ago and it's got a perfectly tart taste! Mmmmm!
Was that one of your house pets?
I have never, to my recollection, made a polka post ;~D
When I get back, I'm gonna have a go at sourdough. I want to try your starter recipe.
Got pinged to the thong thread...moved right along...
There's no time like the present.
LOL! No...we raised two of them specifically to eat. They never were pets and that chicken, believe it or not, was only six and half weeks old.
No...we had six pet hens and 2 of them died a while back...broke everyone's heart. The back yard isn't the same with out them.
Whew....all is well.
Maybe covering the brownie with foil for part of the cooking time? Take it off near the end?
Heh heh...you missed it, eh? The Hole went through that entire meat chicken experience with me...g'nad was even the one that put in the order for me and I got them while at ShootMoot in Missouri.
But our two hens that passed away are buried under the shady shrub, where they liked to hang out on hot days...
Maybe! Lotsa experiementing to do!
What would the people at ~Hungry Man~ do?
How old did the house hens live to be?
:-)
Nope, I'm afraid the only writing down of this stuff I'll ever do is here in the Hole and it's readers all HHD's.
