IMPORTANT!...  Updates are needed from ALL Freeping Gamers!
Freeping Gamers was originally intended to be a PC gamer list. However, this was not made abundantly clear, and we may have a mix of console games listed in our game table.
It also appears that there may be some interest in us supporting the major gaming consoles.

I have added a new column to the gamer table specifying the platforms you play on.
XBOX and PS2 games will be listed in separate game tables.
I need updates from everyone to segregate the console listings from the PC game table.
Please tell me the platforms you regulary play online with;  PC only, XBOX only, etc.
If you wish to list multiple platforms, I will need to know which of your games goes with each platform.

Again, please help me keep these tables functional by listing only those games you regularly play online.

My gaming platform is PC. I also have Operation: Flashpoint (version 1.9.6).

Other games I have are:

Deus Ex 1 and 2 (although 1 is better by far)

Diablo 1

Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Chrome

Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance

Heavy Gear 1 and 2 (although 2 refuses to work on XP)

No One Lives Forever 1 and 2

Aliens vs. Predator 1 and 2 + Primal Hunt expansion

UT2004 (although I rarely play that these days

Remember, if you see someone that plays the same games as you, offer to play them or meet them on a server somewhere. I did this with Safrguns, and it has turned out to be pretty fun fragging another freeper. He got his payback too.

Operation Flashpoint and Diablo 2 I play most online. I used to play heavy Gear 2 every day online until I got Windows XP.

BF 2? Unfortunently no. My processor and RAM are sufficient but I need somthing better than a GeForce 2.

I had a BF1942 server for my team(XXX). It was purchased through EA Games, and cost around 50 bucks a month. that was for a private server with around 14 spots, IIRC. The more spots you have, the more it costs, and a public server costs even more per spot. The server lasted about a year through members contributions. But at the end of the first year no one would contribute and I went belly up on the deal. IMO this is the best solution for a server, as trying to run a server off of a cable or dsl connection just doesn't provide the bandwidth necessary for a bunch of players. XXX might get a BF2 server in the near future, but that is not up to me this time. A couple of the guys I introduced you to were from XXX, they just didn't have their jackets on. My mike works, but the voip doesn't.

How do you fix your voip?

I dunno...lol. Looked for your server, didn't see it.

I remember when I installed, it said that you should have your mike plugged in during installation. There should be a voip configuration, where you configure your mike setup. I remember going through that during installation.

Did you check to see if it's enabled under Options/Audio?
