Good morning.
We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Is it true that the proper method for applying sugar to a beignets is to shake them with powdered sugar in a paper bag??? ;-))
Good morning!
I was in a little community around your city once looking for a short was to get there from a back way, stoped a Deputy Sheriff for directions, he said 'go down this road untill you get to where that barn use to be and take a right'. I went the long way, down the interstate.
One cup down and I'm still blurry eyed.
That's the easy way. The hard way, well I won't go into detail, but it involves a trapeze....
I have one/half cup down, nothing yet but I can feel it working on me.
One thing is sure: I will NEVER be a Recovering Addict to coffee. (On 2nd cup now.)
Good Morning. Waiting on the coffee to be ready.
Morning!
Sean Connery!
Agree!!!
Years ago my folks were traveling to Tupelo, Mississippi. (Did I tell you this one?) Anyway they got lost and stopped off at a farmhouse to ask for directions. An elderly southerwoman, just as sweet as sugar, came out and pointed down the road and said, "Follow that road for about 20 miles and it will take you right into Tupelo."
My father asked her, "What kind of town is Tupelo?"
And the woman responded, "Don't know... been here all my life and I tain't never been there."
True story!
Ahhh... coffee... one of life's simple pleasures.
Cloudy and 57 degrees at the moment.
Mozie must be doing handstands. She loves this weather as much as I do.
We've had unseasonably warm weather over the past few weeks, so this is a fresh of breath air.
On the flip side, the corn and soybeans are way ahead schedule!
Kinda like oxygen, isn't it? LOL
Question.
If a man talks to himself in the woods, and no one is around to listen, is he still wrong?
Did you check out the keywords???
Absolutely!
I worked with a retired Chief Petty Officer by the name of John.
He could drink coffee at any hour of the day, regardless of temperature.
He loved good coffee, and didn't like that "girly stuff" people put in their coffee.
A great guy to have around when you're looking for a good cup of hot coffee! He carried it in his thermos all the time.
A true patriot!
