A Joyous Good Monday to all!
We will not falter, we will not tire, we will not fail.
...and also my post #56
#45... You are absolutely correct. (as usual)
Well, I think that probably Franklin Graham realizes that his father should retire, given that performance last night.
God bless Billy Graham for all he has done spreading the Gospel, and may he have a few years of peaceful retirement.
Really old people sometimes say foolish things, often because they aren't quite cognizant of all the meanings that will be taken from their statements. My mother has lost the ability to understand when joking is inappropriate, and we have learned to just ignore it. Fortunately, she isn't in the public eye.
I think Reverend Graham confused courtesy and forgiveness with making ingratiating statements. It's a shame, but I am not going to get upset. The evil couple will soon reveal themselves as NOT Christian.
By the way, old X-42 said this was his 4th Billy Graham Crusade. All I can say is that they didn't "take."
I heard that Thurmond's first wife was so nice.
I was just thinking that maybe when people get up in front of large crowds their words of praise for others get carried away.
Somewhere I read that Rev. Graham was a Democrat, which also surprised me. He's a great man, but his glow dimmed a little for me as well.
Clintons are such low life criminals, they'll use - take advantage of anyone for personal gain.
Illegal aliens captured; they had HazMat licenses.

Good morning lysie!
Good morning.
Your wall sounds neat. Hope you post a picture when it's completed.
Hope your back is getting better, kassie.
Your time with this young man will be such a blessing to him.
It is, thanks.
How are you doing?
Glad you're doing better and hope D's allergies are getting under control too.
It's steamy hot here and I have a gazillion errands; getting in and out of acar is the hottest part of living in the south, imo.
Hot and humid here too.
D. allergies are under control. However he has a lot of side effects with Singulair. I'm not sure he's staying on it.
Fox: 10 Commandments are NOT to be displayed on public land.
I have to leave now before I say more.
Time to get these folks off the bench!
lysie, brand name on my set is GPX.
Got to run errands...back after while.
Aren't the Ten Commandments on the facade of that magnificent structure?
It is an unbelievable ruling, but par for the course of this court. I was not surprised by it.
On another subject, I completely agree with your comments in #47 about Billy Graham and x42. Well said!
.... I heard Graham's comments during the Monica scandal (at the time we didn't have FoxNews so had to watch the other cable networks) and my jaw dropped then. His excuses for x42 were totally shocking.
As for his being a 'rat, I don't find that surprising. In many parts of NC, there wasn't a viable Republican party until recent years. We were registered 'rats until we moved to this part of the state 12 years ago. When we first registered to vote in eastern NC, there weren't enough Republicans for the party to even have primaries. If one wanted to vote in primaries, one had to register as a 'rat. I have voted for every Republican presidential candidate since Richard Nixon though have only technically been a Republican since 1993.
I used my vote in 'rat primaries to have fun ... actually voted for people like Teddy the Swimmer to draw votes away from the front-runner ... :-)
Many people who originally registered one way won't bother to change their registration unless there is some issue that especially motivates them. I will say that after x42's behavior, I think I would have changed mine even if we still lived in eastern NC. They now have primaries and even some GOP members are getting elected to local positions.
Holy Smuckers! I think it's the water on his brain that caused him to recommend ole broadbeam to run this country. I guess it's his way of being gracious, but goodness..there is a limit.
Good Morning All. Won't be here for awhile, Roomey and I are making a run to Waco. Our foreman needs some equipment. See y'all later.
Has Guenie really left us? If she's lurking...HI.
