My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Hmmmm. Well, at least the Fridge stayed put. I guess the appliances just sit back and let the furniture do the dirty work, huh?

Yeah, the appliances wait for the furniture to rough me up and then.. THEN they start in.
Nothing like being buried alive under frozen peas...

I'll have to take your word for it. I have only ever been sideswiped by pasta.

The freezer and I have a 'special' relationship.
Goes back to having had frozen hamburger patties fly out at me in formation, and land on my foot.
Once that happened, everything else in there joined in.
Even the turkey.

LOL
You do have the oddest relationships I have ever read about. I suspect you have a lot in common with Harry Potter.
While I have never read a one of the books, I gather a lot of strange things go on in his life.

If my life weren't surreal, it would be beyond mundane.

Now that sounds like either mateerial for an epic story poem, or a darn good fireside book for a long winter's read!
To: WayzataJOHNN
The weird part of it: my life is surreal but to me it is extremely boring.
And illustration, in a way, of how relative perceptions are.

To you it might well be boring, you were there, been there so long that it doesn't seem interesting. Now to an outside viewpoint, you could be a great book!
To: WayzataJOHNN
I know, it makes for some weird thoughts and philisophical introspection.

weird thoughts and philisophical introspections are the source of a lot of interesting books!
To: WayzataJOHNN
I'm not much of a writer.
The introspection leads to headaches which lead to odd inspiration which leads to demented poetry or odd drawings.
For some odd reason ther i s aconnection between my headaches and my inspiration.

Hello! Welcome to The Dragon Flies' Lair.
Stick around if you wish, sometimes, some of us write poetry. LOL
To: bentfeather
Thank you. I was looking for Darks. Found him here. I never tried to write poetry but I do enjoy reading it.
